24-0 or 18-6 lighting veg- special situation

bascially in this situation what should i do?

run a 18-6 @ 84-88 degree enviroment

run a 24-0 in a 72-75 degree enviroment

Im stuck bc without running a supply of c02 they grow slow at those temps.

reason being is downstairs i cant get good darkness so i cant run a dark period. upstairs i can get the darkness but gets to hot.

any advice?

make the darkness happen downstair's or stunt your ladie's...we have the technology! jack

Could'nt you set up some kind of tent or curtains with black poly down stairs to create total darkness?
I'm a firm believer of 18/6 I believe that all living things should have a rest period, I doubt there's any where on earth that is 20 hs of light except north or south pole and we all know nothing grows there.

DT's right plant's need dark period's to repair.....

thanks guys. i have actually vegged my girls that are flowering right now on 24hrs. my cotton candy is a effn beast. almost 6 feet tall and i topped it. having said that i also have one that really didnt get tall and is was mostly sativa. vegged them for 5 weeks 24 hour. i always think if i did 18-6 they could be taller. i just dont know.

but ya im working on trying to make a total darkness system. iw as jusgt wondering what would be worst for the growing progress, high heat with darkness or a nice 72 deg enviroment with 24 hours.

haha ya i hear that. ran 24hrs with 400 hps on my first autoflower grow. got pretty steep. im vegging with just 180 watts of cfls. so it aint too bad.
