24 hour lighting?????

Ok my brother said it was better to keep a 300 watt ish bulb 18 inches above the plant 24 hours when they just sprout. Is he full of shit? or what as of now there getting 9 hours of sun light a day. Should i do what he says or just do what im doing right now? heres what they look like.

LMFAO..ok dude, you just answered your own question. That bulb won't do much.

I'd also put those little guys in different pots before they get bigger.

haha yea im a total idoit when it comes to this subject haha im 15. How should i transfer it to another pot? just Carfully did it up trying to get all the roots and not bother the other plant? Thanks very much for the help i really apreciate it.

Yea, I suppose that would work. Dig real deep, those roots are deeper then you think.

I usually have mine in a 16 ounce dixie cup and transfer when the soil is dry. Just tip it over and that works..dunno if that will work in your situation.

That looks like Lowryder. It can perform under 24 hrs of light but 18 hrs day 6 night is recomended by the joint doctor. Get rid of the halogen use cfl for a couple of weeks then switch to a high pressure sodium bulb if you can get one to flower good.

The dude is 15, come on man! I doubt he can get somethan like that setup - LOL! But yea, CFL's will do the trick if you are on a budget. How the hell can you tell that it looks like lowrider? Damn thing is like 2 inches tall.

I have limited funds only 15 years old. I think for now ill just do it the way i was before and just bring them out in the morning and inside at night. Later i will have a good set up but for now ill just do it the free way. Oh and ill make sure to transplant it tomorrow. The soils a little wet right now. Thanks for the help guys.

Of course I'm retarded I'm posting on this forum!! But the look of the plant & the advice match lowryder grow specs. I am a first time grower (not 16 though) so pretty novice. How the hell do u post a new thread anyway???

Still can't find it so I'll ask u guys. I've got lowryder less than one week away from harvest date. I've got no flowering. I can only use CFL's because of where I live. HPS is not available. The plant did have stress i think setting back its growth. Is it possible to flower using soft white cfl's ? or am I screwed n should transplant outside and hope nobody comes across?

Yes it is possible with CFL's. Use lots of them! Get the CFL's with a 2700k rating. I believe those are the ones with red spectrum.

not yet im gettin my money right for my 400 watt hps right now and seeds, but i kno friends growin and ive researched a lot, i wnat to know as much as i can besides experience b4 i do work, im plannin on sum blueberry tho, perfect for me right now
