The crop a plant can hold is mostly determined before switch, for a given treatment during flower.
But nothing much can happen with 4-5 days of 24hr light before switching.
So we rule out additional growth as insignificant.
The plant reaction to light is in accumulation or reduction.
I would conclude no benefit in any way for 4-5days at 24.
Any negative effect for 4-5days at 24 would likely be insignificant.
Increasing the number of budding points must be done during growth.

If you went from 14hrs to 24hrs light, it also increases the night time temperature.
Plants see a bigger reduction in night time temperature when changed from 24hrs to 12/12.
Initiation of Flowering could be faster in some cases, but it's questionable.
