You could squeeze 3 in there but there really is no need to. I only grow 4 at a time in a 4x4 and I have no problem getting the canopy to fill the entire tent.

Do yourself a favor and leave out the coco. When you're ready to use coco, use it at 100%...otherwise, I'd skip it all together if you're going soil. And yes, you can manage 3. Remember, you're the artist...craft the plants the way you need to, to get them to work for you. Good luck.

I’d say go 3/4 FF ocean forest 1/4 FF Happy Frog. Unless your familiar with the strain and know it can take it.

With two foot by four foot I would stick with 2 plants but I am not very experienced with training as a newbie. I can say I am in the same size tent now and I have one Early Miss which is taking up 3/4 of the tent in a 5 gallon fabric pot and still growing as it just starts to show bud sites popping up. I think one key is extra space won't hurt any but if you outgrow your tent you will have problems that my be beyond what you can deal with. Just my 2 cents worth, well if it's worth 2 cents.

I have the same size tent and running 5 gallon fabric pots as well. I had 3 plants in there 2 in front and 1 in the back because I’m using a shitty vivosun blurple. It was very crowded 1 plant turned out to be male so it freed up some space. 2 plants fit in there really nice.

The 5 gal pot choice is really the limiting factor. I would do 2. With fans and anything else in there it will be full faster than you think.

3 2-gal or 4 1-gal would fit nicely.

With longer vegy times a 2 plant grow can definitely fill a 2x4 canopy. It really depends on what you want. Faster veg and more plants slower veg and less plants. I use a 2x4 and have overgrown the tent very rapidly by veging too many plants for too long.
