240W (Actual watts) CFL VS 150W HPS?

Well...I gotta say the 150 hps and here's why.....

So what sorta CFL's are you using, 100w equivalent? So for arguments sake, lets say they're 24w a piece...that'd give you around 1600 lumens per bulb, and at 10 bulbs running 240w, you have 16,000 lumens, right? Not exactly...it's just more even coverage of your 1600 lumens...not to mention 90 more watts than the HPS...

Now the 150w HPS produces about 16,000 lumens, and those are legit lumens...Not to mention you're only trying to light a 2' x 1' area, which is just fine for 150w HPS...Also the hps will penetrate the canopy better than CFL's, it's less wattage, more intense light...Just that statement right there....Less wattage, more power...No brainer, other than the fact that CFL's can be a lot cheaper, but a 150w is still only like 70 bucks online.
