:leaf:Hello to everyone, I'm gonna start growing my own cannabis and was thinking, my grow is 80cm per 80cm and 1.80 meters tall, how many plants should i get there? I was thinking of about 4 plants but some people tell me that I am gonna get better yeld if i just grow 2. Also can i upgrade to a 450W in that space or will I have temperature and humidity problems?
Thanks to anyone that helps me :D
Keep smoked :joint:!!

Depends on your medium, training techniques and such. I'd only grow one, i prefer 1 big plant rather than a bunch of small, but everyone does things differently. I grow in a 92cm x 92cm x 183cm tent and my one plant fills the whole tent, but thats because of my other variables. I started with a 250w, upgraded to a 400w but am now upgrading to a 600w because of how I can control temps. So your light size will depend on what you can control temp wise. With any of those lights in that space you could at least hit a gram per watt with one plant alone but it depends on how you do it.

I'm growing with biobizz almix soil and biobizz nutrients. I have no experience so i think my plants wold not get big enough to fill my entire tent. So do you think I wold get better yeld from just 1 Feminized plant rather than 4 ? Thanks :D

I wouldn't put yourself down yet, I am growing first time and i am just shocked from size. Dont doubt yourself, with the right knowledge you can make a first grow a perfect grow. But i agree with one plant, considering you train it for maximum yield, But if thats the case i would go for 2.

Thanks, I will go for 2 seeds so. What do you mean by "training" the plant?

Being your first grow you're probably better off running a couple plants and evolving into being able to train one plant to become huge. With soils slower growth you'll probably be able to cut veg time down as well and do more of an SOG type grow with multiple plants. As you do your first grow research all types of plant training, such as LST, SCROG, supercropping, mainling ect. And try them all out and see what works best for you. I only started a year ago and i'd personally say plant training is the key to success in growing.

I heard of some of those before but I dont know what one to choose. I was thinking about getting 2/3 plants and lst them all.

You can combine many training techniques if you are careful. Practice makes perfect. The only good thing about weed is its not that easy to kill. Good luck with your first grow! keep us posted!

I dont really know how to explain it but let me try.
Some people cut lower leafs and the tips of them leafs and i dont really understand why...:|
You can trim them up. Its your call. The only thing to remove from the bottom would be branches that wont get light ( Lollipopping ) I would first get started growing. This is preflower-flower. In the meantime read. Just scrolling through the forums here you can learn a lot. I mean you have so many resources, from youtube, google, these forums. A really good video, my opinion,
