Hey everyone. Just germinated a snow white seed.


No pics at the moment. But sub up should be lots of fun.

Workin in a 2x2x4 got a heat shield(vase with bottom cut out) to contain heat. 250HPS with some blue in it. I'm going to veg her for 4-5 weeks and watch her grow. She is going to be started in a minicab with cfls till flowering time. Mini cab area is 18x9x22. Ive got 5 27w 6500k cfls in there. So enough light for the space. Trying for perpetual. But that is gonna take a Long time And a move could be near in the future.. Anyways I'm using a summaster bAllast. I'm at work ATM so I'll post pics of my set up in like 8 hours .

Nutes Are gonna be a new line up probably. We are playing in dirt. Possibly rockwool slabs. With run to waste hydro. That would be lots of fun. I dunno. Why do you guys think? How should I grow this snow white. Keep in mind I do not have access to ebb and flow or dwc due to my area and lack of supplies. So I can consider coco coir and rockwool. No hempy cuz I'd fuck it up. Just know it. Unless you guys wann help me haha but I think hempy is out of the question

here is my space.

it is currently filled with a god bud cross. i call it demigod. so what ever. also we have a god bud monster green pheno that weighs in 40-50% more when dry. its fucking amazing we got 4.5oz off one plant with a 400w ........... it was nuckin futs man... trimming all those buds....mmmmmm it was beautiful. and another one that looks way dank. dunno its a mystery seed.




WHY ARE THEY FUCKING SIDEWAYS!!!!!!!!!!!???????????
these are of the LST'd one. and its not even flowering. but holy fuck it smells like it is. and the leaves are just beautiful

Hey dude I'm looking at growing in soil with a 250w HPS in a 2x2x5 grow tent. What do you think? I was planning on using a 4 inch inline fan to vent.. POSSIBLY to a carbon filter

How many mature plants are you trying to squeeze into your tent?

How does the tent work for you?

& lastly what kind of temps are you running with the tent closed up & what are you using for vent?

I think as long as you keep the light close you should be fine. The extra foot would be so nice in my area but the light will disperse terribly after a foot and a half.

My set up is 2x2x4 it's very decent. My fan is 252cfm it's mounted directly above the light. So it pulls the heat straight from the light. My temps are like 77 ambient. I'm gonna squeeze 1 or 2 in there . Probably scrog em. Get qt pies off em

well my snow white sprouted today. she grew a whole fucking inch today and opened her shell and fucking working on her first set.
Beautiful..Ima go GH SOIL NUTES. GROW, BLOOM, AND BLOOM BOOSTER.

VG REPORTING.
Had to move the flowering cab into my closet cuz my downstairs neighbor is an old man that can't stand trickling water. And my toilet kept running. So the fuck called managment. And apparently they are coming tomorrow in the morning. (Read:the fuck downstairs is an asshole.) anywho dealt with the problem. Got everything secure. Over and out.

I think I'm going to do like 20%perlite 80% ffof for the seedlings though.. starting in 20oz party cups

I've got a little sideproject that is essentially the same as your setup right now.
Vertical lighting is an option. I run a 250w hps vertically in a 2'x2'x5' box/tent.
Got like 9 plants around it in a little ebb & flow setup made from vinyl gutters.

You could consider putting little 5.5" pots of soil lined around the edges of the box, with the light hanging from the center. Then use mesh wire (i use 1") to keep the plants from growing into the lights.

Keep it cool by putting little fan facing up under the light.

just a suggestion.
I usually pull like 4oz/harvest with hps on top, but i think you can get more out of it vertically.
