250w HPS

Thinking of getting one of these little babies, just wondering: would this send my temps out of control in a grow tent thats 4 foot tall and 2 foot wide?

im assuming 2 foot deep? it will eventually climb if you've got no ventilation, but a small extraction fan will keep it in check

if you're unsure just spend a little extra and get thermostat controlled etc

i wanted to spend minimal money cos i can technically flower with cfl's but lately im feeling like im missing out on a lot by not flowering with hps

im facing the same quistion. i have a dual sided grow room that is 2x6x5 that i split in half for veg/flower and was wanting to put a 250watt hps in the 2x3x5 flowering side. let me know how it goes....

as much as i love fluoro's, a hps for flower is a much better idea..

unfortunately for you though, theres not really any in between, if you want the benefits of a hps, you're going to have to spring for some sort of ventilation, otherwise persist with your fluoros

this seems to be a big issue on here, people wanting the best for as cheap as possible, you still get what you pay for, if you're only willing to put 50% in, you're only going to end up with 50% of what you want.

unless your gonna want to spend money and time in ventilation i would go with something smaller of just CFL's
