250w Light Bulb Buzzing

Its a 250w complete Magnetic Ballast

I know these buzz, my brand new 150w occasionally makes a buzzing sound but not for long and it's fairly quiet.

This 250w is atleast 2 years old and makes a terrible loud buzzing and it does not stop.
I just bought a brand new 250w from hydro farm but Now i'm wondering is this the bulb or the ballast itself?

If it is the ballast itself than is it possible there is a quick fix for this?

really want to get a bloom tent setup, my plant is 6 weeks vegged and is definitely ready to flower.

buy a new light......i have a 400w hps ill sell ya 100 bucks or best offer lol

sounds like your ballast is taking a dump to me....no easy fix that im aware of just remove and replace. People build thier own setups by buying all the parts so im sure its a safe bet the faulty part can be replaced. I stay away from electrical shit like the plague !!!
I dont want to do anything electrical for fear of a fire so when anything electical goes south I replace it or get an electrician which ever is cheaper.

If your tapped for funds and need a replacement hit Craigslist always deals to be had for lights on there for pennies on the dollar, just make sure you plug in there shit to make sure they aint selling one thats doing the same buzz yours is ....been there done that

I'm glad I made the right decision

Nope its just the Start capacitor failing replace it and good as new. under $20 fix .

Oh and the capacitor model number is 15 uf If I remember rite thats for 250w
