250w or 400w hps/mh from htg?

their the same price so should i just go with 400w?? im limited on space though... i have 20"L34"W41"H... what do you guys think? PLEASE... help!!! thanks

Go for the 400w if you can but with your limited space, I'd be more concerned with keeping the temperture down. 250w HPS just aren't good enough for anything. You can get more and better light from a bunch of cfl's.

How many plants u growin? i'd go with the 400 if ur doin more than say 2 plants.... but then again, i'm usin a 400 from htg for just 1, but i do got a lil more space than u lol.... Seriously though, The 400 would effectivley light a 3x3 area, which is a bit more than ur workin with. Aside from that, the 400 will put out a bit more heat then the 250.... so temps could become an issue there. What are u plannin on doin for exhaust, cooling and whatnot?

Hmmm.... any idea on the lumen output on the 250? They do got the bigg 300watt 2700k cfl's at home depot.... about 4,000lumens each....
