I was thinking of buying a 250w Sylvania Grolux bulb + ETI ballast (classII) plug & play with a small Adjust A Wing Defender reflector.
This is at the upper limit of my budget. 133 inc cables to hang light and free next day delivery. $180/100UK
I'm looking to grow two plants at a time from veg to flowering in the same space.
Does anyone have a similar set up or have you used the individual items?
To start with I'm just going to put the light in the corner of a spare room, the walls are matt white. So that's two sides sorted. Is it worth me messing with something like hinged plaster-boards with feet painted white to complete to a grow area?
Will I gain much extra yield to make it worthwhile?
If I do build a grow area what sort of size should I make it?
I believe I get an optimal growing area of 60x75cm from the small defender reflector.
This is my first indoor set up.
I guess I'm looking for reassurance before I spend my cash.
Anyone input welcome.
