2700k cfl bulb for vegging?

can i use 3-4 63watt(300watt equiv.) 2700k 4200 lumens CFL light to veg 2 plants? And also what risks am i taking by changing from 12/12 from seed to 20/4? thanks

Yeah you can, but 6500k would be better for veg. Usually if you reveg they'll be stunted for a while, but you'll notice it'll start growing like usual in 1-3 weeks.

i think its best to veg under 6500K lights, i think ittl just grow slow under 2700K
and i dont understand what your question is about the lighting schedual, can you rephrase your question

actually 2700k is the spectrum for flowering, you want 6500k(daylight) which come in 42watt cfls not sure if there are higher wattages, also not sure clear on what ya mean by 12/12 from seed? do you have seedlings under 12/12 hrs of light?

i started the plants at 12/12 from seed then changed it to 20/4. also, do they make the 63watt CFL's with 6500k? How much slower will it grow with the 2700k bulbs?

ive seen a 250w cfl bulb 6400k blue spec...vegging 4ww for 2weeks and there were very bushy and lots of new growth and i mean loads lol i was shocked by the result !! but he uses hps for flowering xD
