27W CFL, strong enough?

is a 27 watt CFL bulb strong enough for one plant?
i also have another tube flourecent
27 watt has 5500k
and i think the tube one is around there
i dont exactly know because i bought it a long time ago, but my plants really seem to love it.
im going to add my CFL bulb today at 6 when i put them back into light

btw what should i use to hang the light upsidedown
i cant find anything!

You are gonna need more than one 27w cfl for a plant. And 5500k is referencing the color temp of the bulb not the lumens. A 5500k bulb should be used for the veg stage, in the flower stage you use bulbs at 2700k-3000k. I have two plants 3.5 weeks into flowering under cfls. I use two 42w cfls, six 26w, and a 4' tube fluoro w/ two 40w bulbs. Read the GrowFAQ carefully or you are just spinning your wheels...
