We're on day 29 now and day 1 of 12/12 lighting so hopefully we'll see signs of sex in next couple weeks. growth has picked up again and its roughly growing at 1cm per dayand every 2nd day another set of leaves form so im happy again that it seems to be responding well to the new nutes.

i tried lst on my last grow but didnt go to well and had a shit harvest so gonna try without this time and i trim the leaves to allow light to side branches and also so the plant focuses more energy on them rather than growing useless big fan leaves. i gonna germ another tonight so i can have 2 plants ready just after 1 another so might try lst with that and see how it goes.

I dont think he means a full lst mate, nothin drastic like bendin her other lol jus tie some of the leave in to space or out of the way for better light spread the more healthy leaves at this stage the better mate!

Exactly mate. Healthy leaves are good leaves. A bit of string around them and move them out of the way.
Would chopping good leaves off not stress the plant?

some people cut leaves .. some dont.. i just move em out of the way from budsites..tuck them under some branches ... need those fan leaves for energy

Help i think i might have a male plant can anyone tell i know the pics are shitty but i only got a camera on ma phone. i seriously looks like little pollen balls on all the branches near the top of plant but bottom is fine.

from reading some threads on here i've decided to wait a few weeks and see what happens as it might be pre flowers but not noticed and hairs yet and is it normal to have the ball looking things in the head where main cola will form? i hope to fuck its female as i only doing one at a time and dont want to have wasted over a month.PICT0471.jpgPICT0473.jpgPICT0469.jpgPICT0470.jpgPICT0472.jpg

Well people thanks for all the input and watching this grow but i am now 100% sure i have a male plant so have started germing another couple seeds and hopefully will get lucky this time gonna use my last northern lights seed and also 1 of my new bubblegum / bluberry x strain i just recieved.
will be starting a new thread and keep u all updated on my next grow as soon as the shells crack im hoping tonight or tomorrow at the latest as already wasted a month and a bit on this waste of time.
Also anyone looking for a male northern lights plant to use for breeding purposes? free to good home lol

Sorry to hear that Garybhoy. Use this plant as a learning curve.
