2nd CFL Grow

This will be my second round of plants im growing. My first attempt had mixed success. I started with 8 plants, of that 5 turned out male :( of the remaining 3 2 were fairly small and 1 ended up being about 2 1/2 ft tall, unfortunately i think i over watered it and it ended up dying :(. The other 2 are about almost 2 weeks into budding and are looking pretty decent

These pictures are all from my budding box, the last one is a male plant i saved to possibly get some seed stock

My germination/ clone room is in a tv cabinet, i have one 2' fluorescent tube, 1 23w daylight cfl, and a small unknown wattage soft white cfl. they just happened to all combine to create the perfect temperature

My veg room has one 250w cfl with reflective wing

My Flower box has:
2 65w soft white cfls
10 23w soft white cfls
2 23w daylight cfls ( to broaden the spectrum a little bit)
16 oscillating fan
also have a couple various computer fans pulled from fried desktops i am thinking about adding to get some more airflow, but do not have the right saw at the moment to cut the holes

For the seedlings i am just using Miracle Grow potting mix and a little bit of superthrive, once they get a couple inches tall i will switch them from the TV cabinet into the veg room.

Once i switch them into the veg room i will transplant them into 6 liter pots for a couple weeks and then eventually into 5 gallon buckets
I will use basic miracle grow all purpose fertilizer, 24-8-16 NPK along with superthrive

In the Flowering box, I will continue to use the Super thirve, along with Expert Gardener plant food 15-30-15 npk, along with a weekly dose of Black Strap Molasses

I also have a few bagseed plants that are about to be put into flowering, but as they are just some middie seeds my buddy had lying around i am not paying a whole lot of attention to them. They are THRIVING none the less.

This grow will consist of a few clones(if i can get them to root) from one of the plants currently in the flower room, i currently have 2 maui wowie seedlings (from a package shipped from cali), 1 sour diesel seedling(also from the cali shipment). i am waitn to see if a few bubba kush seeds, randoms bagseeds, and a few sour diesel and MW seeds will sprout still

I will have pictures of those on the next post

Here are the seedlings and clones. The seedlings just broke ground yesterday. With the clones i am trying a couple different methods of cloneing, 3 in soil with humidity domes and one in a glass of water with the stem just barely in the water supported by saran wrap.

Will update in the next couple days as the plants grow

Thanks man, this new rounds plants were germinated on the 14th, the bag seed plants that are vegging are about 4 weeks, and the ones in flowering are about 2 weeks into budding. a couple more sprouted this weekend bringin the total to 3 of the maui wowie, and 2 sour diesel. i will add some new pics after work tomorrow

So after one week all but one of the 4 clones has rooted, although the 4th is still lookin strong just waiting for the roots to show. 3 of the Maui Wowie( will now be know as MW), 2 Sour Diesel(SD) and one of the random seeds have sprouted.

I left 4 seedlings and the clone that is waiting to root in the germination room, and transplanted the 3 rooted clones and 2 of the larger seedlings into larger pots and put them under the 250w daylight CFL in the veg room.

Unfortunately one of the clones isnt lookin to good after the transplant and im thinkin it might not make it

When the others get a little larger i will transplant them as well.

on another note, the plants that i previously had in bloom are doing awesome, besides a little bit of heat stress( which i hope i have worked out, the temp is still at 82.7F but thats better than the 88 to 90 it was at) they seem fine and are beginning to develop some decent buds.

the random bag seed plants that were in the rubber maid tote were moved over to the flowering box today aswell

check it out

for some reason its throwin them all outta order but u get the picture, ones still in jiffy pots are still in germination, the ones in medium white pots are veggin, and the large plants with all the lights are in bloom along witht the ones in the blue rubbermaid
