2nd floor and attic growers...

Well im moving, and my only option for a garden is upstairs on the second floor. its a cape with about 7' ceilings. my only worrys are heat when the summer comes back around after our wonderful 150" avg snow season. what tips do you have for growin above the first floor?

if heats an issue, an ur hid, then a window AC of sum sort is must in the summer. it will get hott, i use hid, on a second story, and LIVE in the room, haha, so it gets hot in the summer

timed with my lights fer cost purposes and dont want em to freeze neither. it gets cold at night here in SO CAL.

Get an ac. Window is best but in a pich the portables will work. I left mine on 24/7 bump it to 70 in the day (made it about 75 2 inches under the light) then 65 at night and it alway maintained perfectly.

for those running any type of hydro, what are your water temps, and would a chiller be a must?
