All the plants are showing and equal amount of new growth. They all pretty much wicked 3/4 of the water in their pots. I thought that a touch of Calmag would help the mixture. I also picked up a small bottle of House & Garden Roots Excelurator.

.5mL/gal of TechnaFlora Magical
1mL/gal of Floralicious Plus
5mL/gal of Floranectar

So I've been debating on whether or not to go with beneficial bacterias or fungi. Since I'm doing alot of testing of different nutes, I don't think beneficial fungi can do anything to hurt my yield so I'm going with AN Piranha w/ Vermi T solution.

Fed w/ 750ppm phed to 5.9
.5mL/gal of TechnaFlora Magical
1mL/gal of Floralicious Plus
5mL/gal of Floranectar
1mL/gal of Roots Excelurator
4g/gal of AN Piranha
75mL/gal of Vermi T solution
7mL/gal each of Heavy-16 Veg A&B

Runoff
Tahoe OG- 5.9pH 850ppm
Platinum Bubba- 6.1pH 800ppm
Platinum Bubba#2- 6.1pH 800ppm
True OG- 6.0pH 700ppm

Nice brew! Do you have your own VermiT brewer? Teas are great. I also like to use them as an alternate to a flush or low ppm feeding. My good buddy, with a green thumb, swears by his teas. He kills the quality and yields all organic. He feeds only 10 times throughout flower cycle, but he waters the off days with his own Tea; simple but effective. I truly believe there is an element beyond the scientific breakdown of plant requirements - teas give us a chance to introduce that untold element and give our grow a unique signature.

No I just picked up a 1/2 gal bag of Vermi T solution from my local hydro shop. Ive heard nothing but great feedback on people who used teas with their grow. So hopefully it all pays off.

For the past couple days I've been worried about my girls because I was dealing with a pH issue and after feeding them tonight I have some peace of mind :-o. I started feeding them bloom nutes and surprisingly all the girls are looking happy and healthy from the flush on sat.
I also pruned most of the foliage from the bottom parts of each plant to increase air flow between them.

Fed w/ 1200ppm pHed to 5.8
.5mL/gal of TechnaFlora Magical
1mL/gal of Floralicious Plus
1mL/gal of Roots Excelurator
7mL/gal of Bud Candy
10mL/gal of Liquid KoolBloom
15mL/gal of Budswell
75mL/gal of Vermi-T Solution
10mL/gal each of Heavy-16 Bud A&B

Runoff
Tahoe OG- 5.95pH 925ppm
Platinum Bubba#2- 6.0pH 1055ppm
True OG#2-5.8pH 1035ppm
Earth OG-
5.9pH 1150ppm

I forgot to add Liquid KoolBloom to True OG and Platinum Bubba
Fed w/ 1000ppm pHed to 5.8
Runoff
True OG-6.3pH 820ppm
Platinum Bubba-6.45pH 865ppm

Thanx guys. Ya I did about 40 days in vegg. A little longer than I wanted to but I wanted to fix my pH before flipping the lights. I looked at them again today and all of them are touching the screen already!

I fed the girls the same dose as last feeding. After thinking about it I should have watered the night before. But yet there is still a lot of growth and majority of the tops are touching the net. The readings from the run-off show another pH imbalance. I think its from letting them dry out too much but im not for sure. I'm planning on flushing next time anyways with LOTS of 5.8pHed water maybe even start at 5.0 with a few gallons each and then once I get them low enough then flush with 5.8

Fed w/ 1200ppm pHed to 5.8
.5mL/gal of TechnaFlora Magical
1mL/gal of Floralicious Plus
1mL/gal of Roots Excelurator
7mL/gal of Bud Candy
10mL/gal of Liquid KoolBloom
15mL/gal of Budswell
75mL/gal of Vermi-T Solution
10mL/gal each of Heavy-16 Bud A&B

The lights throw off the color but all the plants are really green

Very bad news to report = (. I not only have a pH problem but also a root aphid infestation in 2/6 girls!!! Most likely all 6 girls are infested with these things.....

photo(65).jpg

I found this out after flushing the Earth OG and True OG plants. I'm so much in a bind right now, I'm using so much RO water that I'm taking too many frequent stops to the water store. And I've already used about 20 gals of RO water on two plants and they're run-off came out 7.4pH and root aphids. I'm going to the water store tomorrow to get another 20gals of RO water to flush all 6 girls with GREEN LIGHT Tree & Shrub Systemic Insecticide.
I'm hoping this kills majority of the root aphids so I can concentrate on correcting the pH. The girls are still growing but they don't look so happy

photo(68).jpg

I dont know what to really do anymore about correcting the pH. I've used 20 gal of RO water mixed with 300ppms of Magical, 15mL/gal of Clearex, phed down to 5.0 and the run-off kept coming out 7.4.
I even tried mixing 50ppms of Magical, 400 ppms of both Heavy-16 Bud-A &B pHed to 5.0. Placed a saucer underneath the pot and poured the mix until the saucer filled with water. Waited 5 mins as she soaked in the mix. Drained the saucer and collected the pH from the run-off. 7.2....
I'm out of ideas and pretty tired and exhausted from all this
:wall:. Any help is greatly appreciated

Ouch. I feel for ya - I've delt with black root aphids before. Have you removed an infected plant from the pot to inspect the roots? Be sure your roots are not brown, mushy, or slimy, or smelly... If so, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but this grow is toast. If the roots are still healthy, then the plant can be saved and the PH is not an issue at the moment. I had success using Azatrol to fight root aphids. Add it to your nute mix at the advised rate. Azatrol is organic and effective - which is why it so pricey! It is also effective against mites as a foliar spray. I am not familiar with the Green Light Tree and Shrub Systemic you refer to - though it is likely effective too if it is advertised to work on root aphids. Again, do an honest assessment of the damage done at the root zone and proceed from there.

I will hope for the best. Good luck, my friend! Keep us posted either way. We can all learn from your experience.
