Hi all

I've just completed my first grow and it's hanging in the tent to dry, it's Sagarmatha AK-48 Auto, couple of pics attached. I'm now soaking a couple of LSD seeds ready to plant as I want to try photoperiod plants this time.

I'm growing in a Grow Cube GCCT60 (60x60x180cm) using a 200w dual spec cfl for veg, switching to a 300w 'red' cfl for flowering. Other equipment includes;
Biomix light soil
Ionic Grow
Ionic Bloom
Ionic PK
4" carbon filter/fan,inside tent
4" inlet fan with speed controller.
clip on fan

I'm trying 2 in the 60 tent, although having read that LSD can be quite stretchy in flower I may top or lst them, undecided on that yet!
Will soak the seeds for 24hrs then plant into small fibre pots for their first stage.
Have also bought 4 clip on light fittings and 4 23w cfls so can provide side lighting this time.
I'm planning on updating this journal as often as possible so feel free to come along for the ride! :)

should also say, feel free to post, especially if I'm doing something wrong, all advice is gladly taken!

Impressive. That plant is like a small tree. Really nice yield I'd expect. Love to know how it smokes - let us know. :eyesmoke:

Thanks, yeah it outgrew all I'd read about the size an ak48 auto should grow to!
Only 4 more days (about) to dry then can weigh it and put it in the curing jar! Will update asap! :)

Finished soaking the seeds today and planted in small fibre pots. One with added Rootgrow Mycorrhizal Fungi, as I had it from growing trees from seed for bonsai. Kept one without to see if it actually does make any difference. Hoping theyll show their heads in a day or two.
Will probably try biobizz organic nutes this time so as not to harm the beneficial fungi I'm trying to introduce. Will read up more on this though as some things ive read suggest chemical nutes wont harm them. Got plenty of research time before nutes should be needed though!

Will be interesting to see how your Rootgrow experiment turns out. Don't know about the nutes hurting the fungi but it's possible I guess. Although I use 'chemical' nutes on tomato plants all the time and then eat the tomatoes so probably not real bad stuff.

Nothing much to update with the seeds, hopefully they'll sprout in the next couple of days.
Got them in the tent now with a 23w blue and 20w red cfl for the first stage before I fire up the main light.

Have put the crop from the AK48 auto into a curing jar now. Only got 28.4g dry but on the positive side I've tried a sample and its very potent already, just a touch of green taste still.
