My first plant ended up being a male. So I tried again; and to me she came out okay but with it being my second grow I am not sure. I am concerned as she has been flowering for about 2 and half weeks.Someone told me with cfls you get popcorn buds. Do I have popcorn buds. Are there any suggestion.

There is one branch of another plant that I started at the same time. It is in one photo only. Other then that it is all one plant. I started this plant in a Rubbermaid set up with 6 cfls and unfortunately it did leave much room to grow the plant so i had to learn to lst. i think i lst the plant all wrong but it was so tall i didnt want to break stem.

You're looking okay for 2 and a half weeks.

It is a fact, however, that flouros are insufficient for maximizing a plant's genetic potential.

I have a dedicate closet for the plant. i am using a standard box fan to control temps in the day. i have 6 cfls hanging down around the plant. they are all at varying heights but no more then two inches from the top. then i have a vertical strip with 3 cfls running from top to bottom and and horizontal set of three.

I would suggest buying light fixture splitters and doubling your lighting potential, add an occilating fan for more air movement/temp control and finishing out your grow. A few of your pics show the leaflets starting to cup slightly which is an indicator of a stressor (I'm not willing to guess what it is yet) but otherwise your looking good.

My first grow was using CFLs and while I thought I was happy with what I produced, it turns out that a cheap 250w MH/HPS light has tripled my production. last run with CFLs I got roughly 2 ounces off 3 plants (only used 6 lights) in a grow box.

This round I can already see that I have that much and more growing on the one plant and it's only 4 weeks into flower.

While I will always like CFLs for vegetative growth I am now a permanent HID in flower grower.

Vegging with Metal Hallide will result in a stronger, larger plant structure prior to flowering, resulting in a stronger flower period... resulting in more buds.

Hey Lord, I have a MH bulb for my HID set up, it's a MH/HPS switchable. I still use my box without the HID because of space, light shielding and convenience.

Wanted to add a 400w hp system to flowering process but local head shop wants $300 for it. Most post I read on here say they should run about $100. Outside of that I am not sure if I should use it for flowering or vegging.
