My first grow was crap because they were bagseed from a very-seedy but very-dank bag. I had heard when you get seedy, but dank, it can be a hermie and might be feminine or whatever.

So I grew them out, and I think all these seeds must be male bound because both were males, or maybe one was a hermi but I still cut it down. It had no hairs but when it dried it seemed to have buds and pollen sacks, dunno.

Anyway, second grow, bagseeds BUT seeds that were both the ONLY seed in each bag they came in. Like the grower or dealer had no idea it was there, buried, one seed per 1/8th and they were veg'd one month to about 6 inches each, bent them sideways, they are in 1 gallon pots and have small living quarters. I am 1 week into flowering (april 10 started) and they both have hairs, starting to see more and more, and growing awesome, no balls, very bushy, many tops. Growing with blue shit and kinda being light but hit them with a full dose today and only watering when the pots are light and dry etc, second grow, doing pretty awesome as far as I can tell so far, soil of course, cause it's best for noobs I hear.

COMMAS!

2 questions:

6 23w CFL's and growing awesome: 5x2700k and 1x5000k. I am thinking, since the red ones have blue in them anyway, I'll be better off if I remove the 5000k and put this other 2700k in there, and just have 6 2700k since they all have blue anyway? Sound good? Sound better? Make the red even stronger, eliminate the 5000k since I am 1 week into flowering now anyway and the 2700k's use blue in cfl anyhow?

Question 2 is, I am thinking about putting my plants outside for the day while I clean out the box and just generally get things spruced up to be nice and not wait til the grow is over. The plants have only ever been outside to be transplanted, then they each got a half hour of humidity dome OUTSIDE which, I can't say for sure, but I think it helped them with the transplant because they were nowhere near rootbound (did it late last time, got boys, did it early this time, got girls, just in case it's not seed-determined, as I hear you can stress into hemies and boys, and I also hear it's all genetics and stress doesn't change sex) and growth exploded in the following day.

Anyhow, is it safe to put them outside or will I make them "immune" to the CFL light that way? will i end up making my lights not strong enough to support them? I was thinking maybe I would put them into the real sun daily or at least very often and just keep putting them away at night into darkness etc. But I don't know if it will shock them, stress them, if it will be an awesome boost to them, if it will weaken the potential of my lights, if I should just leave them inside the artificial light and don't go mixing, etc. What do you think? I am so concerned about this because the ones that ended up boys were given window light pretty often, this one I have kept the door shut, kept the light out at night etc, so I don't want to herm these or kill them or make them spoiled to want the cfl light anymore.

Will make pics when the cam gets home if you guys help meeee <3

Hey.
Since you're flowering, your ratio of light isn't bad.
What I have is, for veg - 8, 23w 6500k (daylight) and 4, 23w 2700k (warm), I couldn't be more pleased with the results.
For flower, I had it the other way around, a 3 to 1 ratio of red and blue CFL's. But I wasn't happy with the density or size of my buds, the quality is great (bag seed here too), just not the quanity.
So...you might want to consider getting a small HPS to go along with the CFL's for flowering.

I don't know about moving plants outside, if the have to be "hardened" or not, but sunlight will not immune your plants to CFL's.

Have fun:leaf:

It is up to you , but it is better to give them as close to the full spectrum as possible. I would leave the blue and red mix it brings out colors , smells etc that one spectrum can not do by itself imo. Im not sure about your second question , but remember pollen is in the air and depending on where you live that could be a factor changing the sex. If anything the sun will help not hurt. Good Luck!
