2nd Grow, Dual Stealth Cabinets Kandy Kush x Skunk & LA Conf x Skunk CFL/HID DWC

So, I'm starting my second grow utilizing my first cabinet now for flowering only and vegging in my new cabinet made for moms and clones.

My goal is to move towards a simple perpetual harvest using clones and here's what I'm working with

My flowering cabinet is about 5ft tall with 150w HPS and a 4 site DWC from stealth hydro. You can see it in detail in my 1st grow journal.

My new veg cabinet will have a 2 site dwc for moms and a 10-12 site cloner under 8 23watt CFLS

Tonight I started 2 seeds of DNA's Kandy Conf x Skunk and LA Conf x Skunk from Attitude's free christmas offer. (hoping they all pop, if not I have more to try) One those going I'll take some clones and start flowering and once they show sex kill the male clones and pick one of each strain for moms.

I still have to finish building the cloner and mom's dwc. Need to hit up a local hydro shop for a few things. Neoprene inserts and netpots mostly.

I need to build some type of light trap for a couple of my fans, been trying some ideas but nothing is sticking if anyone has any ideas, please share.

I wanna get new nutrients as well. I have plenty of veg nutes from SH leftover from my kit but I'm almost out of bloom, so I wanna go ahead and move to a 3 part nutrient like General Hydroponic's flora series...

I'm open to any suggestions, criticism, advice you might have and willing to answer any questions that I can so feel free to post. But please stayed tuned and see where this ends up!

Day 7

Here we are a week into it. Also I went shopping today, checked out a local hydroponics shop, and I don't have to order much stuff online anymore, they got everything I think I could need!
I am going to start light nutes later today. I also need to order a cheap/good ppm meter, any suggestions?

And finally the missing ingredients to my veg box, still gotta make the cloner and mom hydro systems. And make some light traps.

The children are responding well to the GH nutes I'm using

Day 9

Day 10 - Mood

Came home to both Kandy Kushes fallen over! so other signs of damage besides a weak root base/stem so far. The roots are seemingly growing well and the leaves grew in size since yesterday. I put some paperclips in the rockwool to support them. Until they fix themselves or I figure out whats wrong. However the LA Conf seems to do be doing really well. And my water is a nice brown color, I'm hoping that's normal for the 3 part GH flora series nutes.



I hope everything with the Kandy's turns out well, I have a new home ready for the females

enclaved, I like your setup! You have all the proper equipment! I have Guided many growers to successful Harvest with Aero/DWC/Hydro, so if you ever want to bounce ideas around? How potent were the cookies? My next Conquest is to Master the Art of MMJ Edibles! I am searching for the best and most consistant way to make super potent butter/oil/edibles. Unfortunately I have a Cancer Patient and Hope that Rick Simpson is onto something! Good Luck!

Nice setup! I have a Kandy Kush on the 2nd week of flowering, approx. 6 1/2 weeks old. If you want I can post a pic, its LST'ed and is doing great, can handle the nutes well! It's a tude xmas freebie, did u get the hash plant and la woman with the freebies? Oh yeah I'm using 170 watts of cfl and 50 watts of LED. FF soil and nutes. Keep it green!!!

Sounds great, as far as the cookies go, they were kinda weak need to eat a lot (10+) for anything to happen. I guess I didn't have enough trim, should have added a little bud to help out. But I started with about an ounce of dried trim and a few grams of bud scraps with a pound of butter. Somehow I lost 1.25 sticks of butter and ended up with just shy of three to cook with (probably stuck in the towel I used to strain it, couldn't find any cheese cloth so next time I'll avoid that) But yeah I'm with you on wanting to get cooking down, there are so many things I want to try. Bhang, tincture, actually potent butter!

Oh yeah I'd love to see it, you don't happen to have any pics of it growing up do you? I got the free xmas seeds, the 5 strains crossed with skunk. Kandy Kush, LA Conf, OG18, Kushberry, and Sleestack figure I'll play around with these for awhile before I pay for more seeds

I've got 161/180 watts of CFL in the veg which is probably over kill that close to where I want to clone, might have to worry about that later but what do you think of the LEDs? Worth investing in to avoid heat problems in say this veg box I have?

Day - 16 doing good mostly.

the LA Conf is a beast and growing nicely, I really hope its female.

So, issues with stems half and half good and bad.

Kandy Kush 1's stem is looking bad and it can't stand up at all. Might splint it to see if that helps at all.


Kandy Kush 2's stem has healed itself and it can stand on its own now, even though it was lagging behind 1 its caught up in size in a day.

Kandy Kush's are down. They weren't going to last much longer so I did the best I could cutting some up for clones see if we can get any roots going.

Figured what the hell and topped the LA Conf while I was at it. Started Germinating 3 of the Sleestack x Skunks and figure I'll deal with having one plant 18 days ahead of the others later.

I germed two of my sleestackXskunk plants, One turned out male, the other I have now is 2 weeks in flower and looking real good. Huge leaf structure and it is now about 20 inches tall after stretching a bit when I flipped them from CFL's to my HPS. I also have 4 cuttings that rooted in like 10 days that I just put into pots. Hopefully this plant turns out to be some nice smoke, I have had regular sleestack and it was pretty good.
