best advice i can give for starting out, is go to mandela seeds web and read their grow info. i havnt grown any of thiers yet, but will one day. theres just some real solid info.

lol i had a full description but no response so I put an F and viola it worked.
anyways
First grow didnt work becuase i didnt have adequate lighting and had troubles cloning mother plant.
This time around ive aready sexed another plant and wanting to clone for SOG method how tall should i let my plant get before cloning.
materials im using this time around.
buying 600 watt HPS light friday
growing medium is sunshine advanced #4 and lots and lots of perlite.
Nutri advance nutriets A and B
Building a flood and drain also if you have any recommendations for that need help finding the fittings for the water pump and drain.
I laughed at all the comments lol

Lighting was nowhere near adequate, and i had trouble making clones from the mother plant.
was using coco coir medium i think that was a issue also

My best advice would be.
Dont over think or complicate it...if you know the basics start there.
Keep ph in check, dont over work it. (Not to much watering or nutrients....you cant really force feed a plant...it will tell you what it needs...and get a nutrient deficiency chart, so you understand what the plants are telling you.
Oh and LIGHTING, LIGHTING, LIGHTING! Do NOT skimp here...this is the one place i would for sure say not to try and cut corners!

I looked, where did you get the tray for flooding. my plants are in 70% perlte 30% soiless mix.

Got it at menards..it was right around $13 where im at.
Its not quite as nice as the flood trays at the hydro stores but its only 1/3 the cost.
Since i apparently cant link it here....

Seriously just grow some weed in pots to start, once you get it down, move to hydro. It's a lot of work. Too much for me.
