This site is great. Thank you to all the posts that I have read on here to get some killer bud. Great advice on here.

Very proud of my ladies. Biggest cola weighs in at 64.3 grams...I know I will lose a lot of that during drying and curing...but damn!

Excellent Job, What strain was it?

Nice harvest - some good looking nugs there. What were the specs ( wattage, grow area)?

400 w MH/HPS system. Soil Grow. Vegged till 13 inchs. 101 day total grow. Grew in my shower stall in a bathroom that is not being used. About 3x3x8 space. Started with 10 plants and all took off and were female. Had to kill 4 for space reasons.

All bag seeds, have no idea on the strains. All have different funks.

10/10 Females from bagseed?! Wow! Nice work..

Yea...the bagseed thing is strange. First grow started 8 plants and all were female. I also have three daughters and two female dogs....WTF? Maybe I was meant to grow MJ.

The trimming was fun actually. Bottle of Knob Creek, movie and it was on. I used a pair of surgical scissors to get in there and snip most of the fan leaves off at the stem.

Then used some hair cutting scissors to shape up the bud. The buds were so swole it was easy to trim around them. I think it was fdd that said if you feel pressure let off...I just did that and they came out nice.

I am more nervous now that I am going to dry and cure them right. Their funk has disappeared and replaced with a grassy smell. They are not dry yet on the outside and the room is sitting at about 68 degrees and dark. It has been 3 days since harvest. Normal??

Yeah, I've noticed that buds smell grassy as they dry out - you just need to give them a good long cure to mellow them out. Try not to dry them too much before the curing process because you can "lock in" that green smell if they are totally dry before curing.
