2nd Grow - Nirvana Swiss Cheese & Master Kush under 2x400W HPS

Hi there,

Since my first Grow-Journal review was between 20th Feb. and the "Fuckup" i will start now my second grow journal

First of all the Equipment:

2x400W HPS - Osram Sunmaster
500m3 - Active Carbon Filter
450m3 - Ventilation

Plants:
4 - Swiss-Cheese Mothers
4 - Master Kush Mother
The others were cuttings from the plants above, the cuttings get 12/12 directly.....

Cuttings: Most of them are Swiss-Cheese, the cuttings from the Master Kush doesnt get roots in reasonable time (Cuttings made about 10 days ago)

Time for the first update:

The girls are under 12/12 light for about 12 days, here some new pics:

The 2nd gen. cuttings are a little bit behind, but since 2 days they strech like champions *yahooooooo*

On the 1st gen. cuttings and the mothers the buds are getting bigger

Nutes (on 30 liters of water):

30ml GHE Flora Series Grow
20ml Micro
10ml Bloom
and 50ml Hesi Root Complex....

After 21 days I will switch to the bloom formula:

10ml GHE Flora Series Grow
20ml Micro
30ml Bloom
and some spatter of Advanced Hydroponics - Bloom/Grow Excellarator

As I had some troubles with some fungus gnats on my last grow, I used Steinernema feltiae (nematodes), for 2,5 square meter I used 10 mio. larvae, hope they will kill those little bastards

Yesterday I switched to the flowring nutes, here the ingredients for 30l of water:

20ml (GHE) Flora Grow (Normally 10ml but my 2nd gen. cuttings are still in the strech...)
20ml Flora Micro
30ml Flora Bloom

Still no bud porn, hope thats the reason nobody is interested in my grow or my pretty poor english

Hope somebody could tell me, if i do something stupid

On my first grow in that box I get about 650 grams, hope I can top that

My medication level is pretty high (insomnia), I need about 100g per month and I cant grow till november, so my minimum yield should be 600g

Time for a new picture update

We write day 25 in our log book.....and it stinks, it stinks like 5 year old molded cheese where a cat pissed over it........ and I like it

The Swiss Cheese are pretty good stinkers, my active coal filter had to do his job or my neighbors are gonna kill me

I gave them the full load of nutes but still some leafs are getting yellow, next time i will give em a special load of nitrogen fertilizer....

The phenotype on the last pic is my favorit, think that could get a pretty big cola

Anyway....thats my last grow with nirvana seeds, I have 4 different Swiss Cheese plants and 3 phenotypes......the Master Kush is pretty good, out of 4 plants, all growed pretty homogeneous and all have the same phenotype.....

Time to roll a J and to relax

New pics from flowering day 32:

The Swiss Cheese's are divas, I have to bend it, push/hold it up, then they start to turn into yellow from the bottom so i gave them a nutes boost (EC 1.8!!!), no reaction so far.....

The different phenotypes are like horror, one is large as hell and have very fluffy buds, the others are middle with hard buds, others where thin and small.......never again the nirvana Swiss Cheese, i will try the Cheese from Buddah Seeds next time (Seems to be a exodus cut bx) .... The only good thing on the cheese so far: Hmmmmmm.......smells like rotten cheese in my box



The Master Kush have really nice buds for flowering day 30, damn, should have taken a cutting from that plant to save it

The old motherplants are in the small 3.5l Pots since almost 5 month and they dont like it, i have to give them every 2-3 days almost 2l nutes with an EC 1.8....but the buds gets bigger every day so everything is just fine

I think i will give them another 7 days nutes and then begin to "flush" with pH-controlled water for 14 days, and then it should be flowering day 63 and time to harvest

Long time no update.....shame on me

The Master Kush smells like rotten wood/turf with a little bit fruity smell in the background

I have a new cam..... Canon EOS 600D or in the States it is called Rebel T3i or Kiss X5, i'm not sure

Anyway....here is a pic from the Master Kush on Day 59 (Under HPS-Light with custom white balance)

I harvested all plants on the 19th Mai

The Master Kush weed is my favorite one, extreme good flavor, deep couchlock -> that's the way I love it but a little too hard to be the "all-day-smoke", unfortunatly....

The Swiss Cheese is more an activating high, nice to smoke before doing jobs I dont want/like to do, like cleaning the house The Cheese is also a good viagra replacement, my wife likes it when i smoke some of it at the evening

The bubble hash is the bomb, that shit is making me high in seconds, so I use it against my insomnia problems, cause after smoking one little piece of it brings me to bed in minutes......
