2nd grow open to any advice...

This is my veg room. I am growing KC brains,White Ice,White Skunk,Honey B,Sharks Breath,Lemon Skunk. They are 13 days from seed. The temperature ranges from 69 to 80 degrees. Humidity is 23 to 26%. I have my germinating dome which i am growing Bubble Cheese,Skunk#11,Tutankhamen,and Anesthesia. Above the dome i am running two 2700k fluorescent bulbs. Above my veg plants im using two t8 4ft bulbs and two 4ft T12's. I am keeping them 6in away.

I am having some problems with some of the plants. They are flimsy and wanting to fall over,so i supporting them with a splint. I am only watering them with distilled water. The PH is at 5.8 to 6.0
I want to know when i should start to introduce them with nutes?

My plans with this grow is to start cloning when the plants get 2 months old. I want to take 2 clones from each plant and take 1 of the clones and put into flowering to sex the plant. Then once i know if the clone is a female i will keep the other 1 in the veg room till its a foot tall then place it in the flower room. I am going to use the scrog method and keep the net 10in above the plants. And keep the process over and over.

What do you guys think??

Start feeding when there are 3-4 sets of true leaves. Use sterile soil when popping from seed, nitrogen will make them leggy. Your lights could be closer, that will make them stretch as well. If your going to scrog, you should probably reduce the number of strains your running due to differences in nutrient requirements and growth traits

If you want some high quality buds, your going to have to invest in an HID light. Digital 400 ballast and a super sun II hood would be my suggestion. The super sun has a somewhat narrow throw (3 x 3) for a 400 but it has excellent reflectivity and even light. More so than many other popular hoods

Thanks legal for your advice, greatly appreciated... If i dont use scrog and the max height in my flower room the plants can only get 36in tall which leaves 15in away from my two 400 watt hps how tall should i veg them before putting them into flowering?

Well you should definitely top them or fimming them would be Even better. They will bush out and not grow that tall. Seems like you have plenty of headroom. If I was shooting for 36 I would flip plants at 20" or so. It is REALLY strain dependent. But with 400 watt bulbs your not going to get much light penetration either. If they are stretching like crazy you can always slow them down a little by trimming the undergrowth "lollipop" which you will likely do anyways. Try not to trim anymore after your two weeks into flower.

Ps. You can probably get those 400 12" away with no problem. My 600 on max lumen setting are set at 12-14.

Ok i think i have it down a little better this time since i germed... Temp is from 67-75 degrees. Humidity is 45-60. Im using half strength nutes Botanicare Grow,Liquid Karma. Downside is im still using tap water with PH down i set it at 6.0 but on my next res change im going to use RO water. These i hope to be ladies,lol are 24 days from seed. The 4 little ones are 10 days old. I am using a whole lot of strains. When i ordered them i picked all the ones i liked,and didnt consider the different heights each strain has..Oh well i will keep the sativas on one side and the indicas on the other side for each light.

Here is an update on my grow. Just put them under the 2 400 watt hps and they looking good.

Well just in the few days my plants are getting big, just from moving them under the 400 watts. I will post pics up today. Im still trying to figure out a plan to keep the cycle going. I have 10 strains and can only keep 3 maybe 4 mothers but not sure which ones to keep. Any advice please.... KC brains,White Ice,White Skunk,Honey B,Sharks Breath,Lemon Skunk. Also i am running two 400 watt hps and they are not the heat cooled one's, sorry cant think of what they are called, but wanted some opinions on if i should get a heat cooled 1000 watt to cover my 14 plants using scrog and a 5x4 ft space.
