So, I was doing some reading last night on pH and nutrient absorption and normally, pH will become more acidic as you water, leaching the Ca and Mg away from the soil. however in my case, my soil is only 6.5 at the very top and 7.0 throughout the rest of the media. The recommended fix?! Lightly water, make pencil sized holes around the drip line and one near the center and add elemental sulfur for turning hydrangeas blue to each hole, then cover and finish watering. So I did it, seeing as both my plants show the same symptoms, I'm thinking perhaps it is more pH concern than feeding, but they also are heavy eaters.
I transplanted my mothers into their permanent homes, they had some super healthy and very long and dense roots. I should have taken pics, but my phone was dead. My DIY superroots worked. I just placed my order for a 2ft 4 bulb T5 HO fixture with 5 year warranty and included 6500K bulbs, for $89 shipped.

Oh happy day! Now I just need to make sure that the design I have in my head to build inside the tent will hold the proper amount of weight. I'll have to take into account both the weight of the light fixture for vegging and the fixture for cloning, as well as the weight of the mothers up top. I'll see if maybe I can't draw something up in paint and upload it, or on a notepad.
The new seedling is growing every day. She is most likely very heavily indica dominant. I'll definitely need to design ventilation with an air scrubber for the veg tent, as every time I open the door, I catch a nice whiff! I can only imagine the power of the smell when I have mothers and vegging plants going!!
