2nd Indoor Grow: Trainwreck (16 clones, soil, 600W, 4x4)

What's up guys, so for my second indoor grow I'll be growing 16 clones of Trainwreck in my 4x4 tent under a 600W HPS. I'm using BioBizz Light Mix plus their full nutrient line-up. Last time I grew 4 plants from seed, all different strains, long veg time and I ended up with disappointing yield and quality. This time I want to take a different approach so I decided to get a bunch of clones and do a (semi-) sea of green type grow.

As for the origins of this strain, I actually have no idea if it's the GHS or HSO version. The place I got them from just said it's a "clone-only version taken from a mother plant of a breeder". Not sure why the guy was being so vague about it, but I don't really care much as long as it's a fire pheno and gives me quality bud in the end, and hopefully a nice yield too!

Anyway, They are now about 30 cm (12") tall on average at 13 days into veg (3rd photo) and will probably be flipped into flower pretty soon. When do you guys think I should do that? I don't want to end up with an uncontrollable jungle but I also want to make the most of the grow area. It definitely looks like this pheno is sativa dominant, so maybe I shouldn't wait too long?

So here they are 5 days into flower (after 15 days of veg), right after I gave them their first watering since the flip. Everything is looking healthy and happy. I wonder if I should have defoliated them a little bit though. Some of the plants developed more side branching than others (mostly the ones in the center), but those are also the ones that are below average in height and I'm afraid I'll slow down their growth too much if I cut something off at this point. I'm just gonna let everything grow the way it wants to and see where it goes.

Here's a little update on the girls after 8 days of flower, they're growing pretty fast. Leaves are dark green and perking up, stems are thick, no sign of any deficiencies. This should be a fun one!

Btw, anyone who wants to share their thoughts on this grow is more than welcome to do so. :bigjoint:
