I see no reason why this contest can not start.
The start date was Jan 1st, because its an easy date to state, not because it was the right date.
As I have said its our contest, we decide what to do and when to do it.
I vote to start from tomorrow, dec 5th, anyone can enter until jan 5th 2013.

I've no problems and it seems the majority is anxious. I'm, unfortunately, still waiting for parts but will definitely jump into it as soon as I can.
Me and my 20ish watts will be joining shortly
I'm cool with you guys germing now, but just want to make sure you guys are ok with waiting for the guys who germ on the last day, 1/5 , to finish because you'll have a month's head start? If you guys are all cool with that, you can start germing today. So it's wide open from here on out guys. I'll start up the official update thread soon, updates will be on the weekends, but your first update is the date you start germing. Good luck Everyone!

I thought 24 hours was the norm ... last time I soaked beans (I started doing this recently...) , within 24 hours one of them was showing taproot ... wont hurt anything.

Crap how about 2-3 days.... just remembered I had them soaking... lol
Put your seeds in a glass of water, and touch them every 6-12 hours. If when you tap the seed it sinks, it's ready to go into paper towel. If it keeps floating leave it longer!

Also, I'm only going to be doing one seed, not five.
Thinking about doing an AK-48, I've also got a "Big Devil" autoflower.... I think it'd get too big for the cup though... :/ I have a few Purps seeds left too, it's going to be time to get some new stock soon...

I'm smoking some "Blockhead" right now, it's frickin' delicious! What a unique smell and flavour! Very spicy, almost like an incense kind of smell but not as strong. Has a mild skunky smell mixed in there as well. The smoke is incredibly smooth, easy to take large hits, little to no 'congestion' in the lungs. I'd recommend this type of bud to patients with asthma or similar symptoms. The smell of the smoke is pungent, not recommended for 'outside around town' puffs, almost smells like it has hash mixed in it, that's more of those incense like properties I was talking about. The buzz is less intense, but not lacking if that makes sense. It's heady, uplifting, easy to concentrate on. Perfect daytime buds, or 'activity' buds , as I like to call them, e.g. fishing, hiking, walking, camping, etc. etc.
All in all, a great strain!

These will be lucky to survive. I forgot them in water two days. Forgot them in paper towel uncovered and dried out. Only one looked OK the rest where jacked. I still planted though. one and two in the other.
I accidentally mislabeled the cups. Forgot what I cracked until I pulled pics. I'll fix cup when I water again.
Is this going to be our official post thread or are we to do individual journals?
