Each and every night - i take the plants out 1 at a time and put them in my bathtub.
I then feed them until there is some runoff.
once they stop with the runoff i put them back in the tent.
its really tedious. and its every freaking day.

Nice job on the plants and canopy, loooks great.

You need to get a tray or some totes or even saucers for pots with lifters underneath pots to keep elevated.

Water them in the tent and every couple days suck out the runoff from whatever you choose to use with a shop vac. Or raise them in a way that you can remove runoff containers and dump them. Whatever works.

Unless you just enjoy taking the plants out, some like being up close and personal, I like easy lol

I'm moving to a water pump with 1/2" water hose. Check them out on Amazon, trying the vivo sun I think 800+gph. I have them elevated and pull run off with a shop vac. Messing with the water spout pitchers is rough.

When im lazy ill sometimes water while they are in the tent.
Ill usually plain PH water if i do this as the runoff has nowhere to go.
Its just a matter of wading through the bushes with a jug of water. Still a bit difficult - but ive learned that this isnt best practice.
My plants grow much better when i let them Drain to waste.

My previous grow i fed inside the tent a lot. Ended up with a Runoff of like 5000ppm after a few weeks of that... LOL
Huge salt buildup.

Easiest solution is get a syphon hose and elevate your watering jug.

Much easier maneuvering small hose through the jungle lol

Just gotta have somewhere to catch runoff and access so you can dispose of it

Catching runoff usually makes such a mess that i have to remove all the plants and clean the floor of the tent.
for me its easier to just move them into the bath tub.
Ive tried so many times to gracefuly catch runoff inside the tent - always ends up with me spilling it lol.

Lucky its not more than a few meters from my tent to the bathroom anyway.

Been there done that. My tent gets really full and there is no way I'm pulling the plants out to water all the time. I grow in 100% coco. I started using blumats and it has made watering as simple as keeping a small reservoir outside of the tent filled. If you're growing in coco you might want to look into Blumats.

Hey Xtsho,

I checked out Blumats. seems relatively inexpensive.
How do you flush? Do you take the plants out once a week and flush?
surely you don't just feed and feed without flush?

I just keep the reservoir filled. I don't ever flush. Plants grow just fine without any deficiencies or anything. But I don't run a very high EC nutrient solution and I don't use a bunch of unnecessary additives. I go all the way to harvest without any issues and harvest healthy plants. I don't believe in flushing and I don't believe you have to water coco daily until runoff. In fact I know you don't. I have other plants growing in coco and I water them when they start to dry out just like soil. They grow just fine. I'm convinced that most issues people have with alleged salt buildup and deficiencies is caused by overfeeding. Don't overfeed and you'll not have any issues. That's how I roll and have for years.

Blumats No flushing Healthy plants
