This light is really bright. Only 100 bucks and has lm301h diodes. Manufacturer recommended 30% power at 30% for seedlings. On my photone, it was giving me mid 280s center of pot. I backed them down so I have it at 25%. Not an endorsement, just a guy in a budget who thinks he got a good deal.

Plus. I didn't want to scrog. Seems wasteful to have to keep buying more because you have to cut them up each harvest
Just use string and eye hooks. Costs like $4 for the roll I’ve used for years. For reference, this is 2 plants in a 3x3 with a scrog net and 4 weeks veg. Would’ve been way more hectic without the net to train them from crowding.

Thanks alot. I dont mind if people post. I am honestly open to any advice. I was feeling a little disheartened. I was all excited that 3 sprouted, but just going to just keep on keeping on.

Id add that your roots will never grow into bone dry soil. You need to wet that whole pot and let the roots grow into them. Keep on keepin on homie.

So here's some updated pictures, going to fill in some more soil. I dropped the lights, now they are at 25% at 14 inches.

Looking good, like your setup. Clean setup, keeping good enviroment conditions. Seems perfect to me. I use the same diodes, kingbrite from china.

Thanks, I've been playing with ambient temp (to try and keep utilities bill lower, lo), and noticed it spiked a little last night to around 84%rh. I adjusted the humidifier for lights off, hoping to stay below 80%.

Well good morning Rollitup fam! The girls are 1 week old officially today! Here are some quick pictures from this morning. I noticed a little more yellow, thinking it might be light or maybe my soil is too hot. I gave a couple sprays of water, and will give more when I get home from work. Going to add 2 tablespoons of raw unpasteurized honey to 3 liters, the pots are relatively light and time for another good watering. Any advice, or should I be concerned about the coloring? Thanks in advance!
