Hello, just wondering if I should bring in fresh air from the outside, and vent it out side as well? Or if I have a choice of one or the other, what should I do?

Depends on temps... inside and out....

I vent out the roof and the tent sucks the air in passively from the room.

depends on your environment. For me i have 2 tents, my veg tent I'm using mushroom bags (added Co2) so i like my veg tent to run High
(86 degrees/70%Rh) and it has just two small desk fans in it that's it its sealed up (not the best but enough to help and make a difference).
In my Flower tent I'm running exhaust and intake fans currently and would highly advise you do so if possible.
I am running an Ac Infinity t6 as my exhaust and a t4 is my intake and in the flower room temps hit 85 degrees/ 43%-53% Rh. before the fans or intakes i had my tens soaring in the 88+ degree range and 89%Rh in both tents. if you have to compromise don't but if you truly have to, always go exhaust as your exhaust if placed appropriately can both pull air out and in if done right but having the intake makes it loads easier to add fresh air while not compromising on my co2 addition.
