a long time family friend has decided to let me use a 13'x15' room for a grow. i'd like to do a perpetual sog, so 4'x4' will be the mother/veg tent and 8'x8' will be the flowering room. i already have a 4'x4' gorilla grow tent but i'll need to build the 8'x8' enclosure. i want to go with building the enclosure over buying a tent in order to take advantage of co2.
this is the floorplan i've designed for the flowering room. i'll be using the ebb and flow system (flood and drain). each 2'x4' table will have 32 plants. the 3'x3' table will have 36 plants. this is because i've read 4 plants/sq. ft. is ideal for sog. i've seen people successfully run up to 40 plants but i'm going to stick with 4 plants/sq. ft. at-least the first time around. i plan to have 1 600 watter over each table and a 12k BTU mini split a/c unit. will be running co2.
I'm new to hydroponics. I'm a little confused about how to know how much nutrients you fill the reservoir with throughout the grow cycle. I know using the instructions on the bottle isn't always the best thing. Anyone have any insight on that?
so what do you guys think of this design? all input welcome! i hope i'm off to a pretty good start. criticism welcome as well! haven't grown in a while so i want to do this right.
