3 250 HPS to 3 400 HPS

Hi everyone,

Im starting a sog grow in a very tight space and I decided to put 3 250 HPS.
The space is 4 ft long, 2 ft wide and 4 ft tall.
As you can see in the pictures, the 3 HPS are working alright.
The ballasts are 1 ft apart of each other on top of the closet.
The grow space gets very bright and temperature is around 29c..so its ok.

My question is,
is it worth/safe to upgrade to 3 400W HPS bulbs, or 3 250's (750W) in a tight space like this will provide decent light for some serious buds?

And, is it safe to have the ballasts so close to each other?

hey man, 29 C seems like a lot to me. Or maybe not... maybe max threshold. So yeah stick to the 250watters and improve ventilation

If possible cooltubes would make 400s work well in there but that's over 100 watts per square foot of hps. 2 400hps and 1 400mh would be awesome in that space. I run 2 600 dual arcs in a 4x3 space and I'm getting really good results. Very very very dense buds.

Ok, I decided to stick with the three 250 watters for this harvest and see what happens.
If needed more light, I'll upgrade the middle bulb to 400w first and see what happens. And so on.

Ya Ide strap a bigger fan to the end of your ru. 750 watts, 400 cfm cyclone should help. 29c is 84 degrees, if your not supplementing co2 I would. In that small space just buy 2-3 mushroom exhale bags probably get your ppm,over 1300
