I wanna clone so is it better to wait for a clone to sex
or put them into flowering to determine sex then revert back to veg?
any opinions?

clone and sex the clones.

less stress for the plant = less change of hermi = more bud.

do tha math.

Fuck me!! Deja Vu!!! That was me about 5 months ago, and here I am in full swing of round 2. I'm still a student, and by no means an expert

Nice looking plants. You probably won't hear this (I know I didn't), but less is MORE. If your nutes call for a tsp per gal, start out with a half tsp at most. Your seedlings are now considered plants at this stage. You'll kill 'em off alot faster by over watering than under watering. Water sparingly at first. My girls are right there with yours (They sprouted on the 19th of Sept), and when I transplanted them, I watered them DEEP (Run-off thru the drain holes). from there, I will water about a qt every 3 or 4 days. about every 3rd water, water deep again. I started nutes about 2 weeks after transplanting them.
You'll learn alot here, both good and bad. You'll have to figure out which is which, but for the most part nobody here is gonna try and steer you wrong.

they are under a 400 watt mh.
i have put these plants through hell!
first mistake was imo using miragle grow time relase soil
then there was overwatering (think i got that sorted out now)-ph spotting(not checking ph levels)-nute burn(read intructions incorrectley and overnuted).managed to kill off most of the fan leaves, but they are still hanging in there and budding.definately not going to get maximum yield off this grow but at least all 4 turned out to be female.
was going to post a pic but batteries are dead in camera.
will get 1 up soon!

Yep!!! Right there with ya. I too, used MG soil and nutes my first grow. Just right at the point where I started them flowering is when everything went south QUICK!!!!
I was too hung up on pH, and to be honest, I was way too concerned that things were going wrong (when in reality they were fine), and needed my intervention. All I could see were problems, most of which were only figments of my over fertile imagination. All that combined with a total lack of knowledge of deficiency symptoms, I "cured" all but one of them to death.
The one survivor was really sweet tho. It was pathetic as hell looking, scraggly and yellow (I stopped nutes about 3 weeks from harvest) I got about a QP from it. It was some FOINE ASSED smoke tho, and it gave me the encouragement and desire to do this right this time. The 2nd time is easier because you've seen with your own eyes first hand what other people could only describe.
Were all your bagseeds females? I got seeds from our past sacks and every one of them have been female so far. And I gotta tell ya, unless you got industrial hemp seeds, there aint a fucking thing wrong with bagseed. I can't see myself ordering "better genetics", when I am tickled as hell with what I have. Your dope will be AT LEAST as good as the dope it came from, and in all probability, will make the dope it came from look like schwag.
Good luck!!! When is your harvest date? Are you growing Sativa or Indica?

TLP :peace:
