3 BlackJack, 3 Ice, 1KayaGold, 1Cheese, 2 Maui Waui FOR OUTDOOR CALI GROW 2013

Just starting germinating them today, going to veg them under some T8s for the first week then going to throw a 400MH over top to veg them through mid May.

Around mid May the sunlight is 14+ hours here in Cali, and 5 plants are going into one 15' x 3' x 2' deep raised bed and the other 5 are going into the other 15' raised bed Ive built. Both beds will be filled with around 40% of subcools supersoil that I made last week. For the remaining soil Im going to use some roots organic as my base.

The two beds will be gravity fed from a spring box just 500ft above the grow.
Of course Ill be topping and fimming and tying down some branches within the first 5-8 weeks of the plants growth.
Not really alot going on right now just waiting for them to sprout, and prepping the indoor site.

Hope to get some big trees this summer!

Good luck, what county do you live in??

I'm living in the 805, beautiful weather 75+ and clear the next 3 days.
Also wondering about mosquito netting and putting it over my plants to keep moths from landing on them. Does the netting seem to affect the growth compared to a plant not under the net?

If you could I would set up a wooden barrier around your plot and put the netting over to prevent it from touching your buds, you wouldn't want any of those trichomes breaking off.

Also for vegging them under 1 400w MH and a 4' T8 whats the ideal pot size to start them out at to avoid them from going root bound. Im wanting to veg for 6 weeks them put them out mid May, I tried to do 3 gallons but it was a bit to tight for those, I was thinking 1 or 2 gallons ok?

Transplanted 9 out of the 10 (1 Maui Waui still too young) put them into 3 gal containers filled with Humboldt Earth soil, they will be sitting inside for a few more days but I want to know when is a good time to put them under some T8s for veggin?

Anyways they will be going into a greenhouse with supplemental lighting by then end of the week to keep them vegging till mid May.

Good idea going with the 3 gallons

Nice was stationed in ventura for a few yrs. Thought they where pretty strict w/ the mmj community. Has it got better?

Well Im kinda a few hours from Ventura. Really the whole central coast of Cali, Santa Barbara all the way up through Monterey or even Santa Cruz is beautiful. Lived here for most of my life after a short stint in Portland OREGON which was dope.

Just decided this afternoon to throw them under some T8s for about 12 hours the next day or two the changing to a 18/6 light cycle.
