cool thanks. So I assume advanced has the uv/ir/whites and you don't supplement with other lights. It's good to know other experiences on this, as there is some controversy about this extended flowering thingThanks Jubiare! I'm not sure really since I've never done the same strains under led an hps. When I grew from seed, both autos and photo, the photo finished right on schedule with what the breeder said but the autos took longer. The rest were just clones that I had been basing off what the dispensaries tell me (always 8 weeks) which I never really trust especially for a strain like 3 kings. I figured sativa dominant should get a little more. The FD finished up at right about 8 weeks. I think it's mostly strain dependant. I would imagine panels with uv/ir might not experience longer finishing times than those panels without, but just a guess?
Yeah I've heard people saying their led grown plants will take longer than if grown under hps. I'd like to know more about that because I'm wondering if it's an intensity thing or a spectrum thing...any ideas? I'm assuming my panel has all those spectrums since theyre advertised but we all know we can't believe everything we're told by led companies. I do actually supplement with one or two 15w far red spotlights, but haven't really used on a set schedule, just kind of turn them on randomly.cool thanks. Yo curly, how's it growing? I have to say, the plants are just about calling it quits. Starting straight flush tonight. Will be flushing for a week or so. The smell is amazing, very reminiscent of sour d. Super anxious to get this one cured. Wish I had a mother to keep the strain alive. Hope to come across it again someday. Highly recommended but not for beginners. It definitely had some stubbornness early on and some sensitivities late. But if executed it is a genuine beautiful plant all around. By the way curly, just checked out your thread and your girls are looking very nice, keep it rockinwhat up puff how goes it man , how the girls coming along still doing good i hope , cheers man
lies! all lies!FD pics tonight just for psy
Thanks Dawg! Harvest will be in less than a week. Initial smoke report a few days later, cure for a good month, then happy days!Come Over To the Darkside Puffdaddy And Grow Hydro Your 3 Kings Are Looking Mighty Fine Brother Canit Wait For Your Harvest And Smoke Report.Peace And Im Your Father
Haha my bad psy! I actually tried to get some decent pics of them hanging out to dry but all the pics I took didn't turn out good enough to post. Will get some trimmed and manicured pics up.lies! all lies!
Didn't turn purple...did some reading on FD and there's apparently purple and green phenos...mine happened to be the green. Smells like purps though!you better! how was the coloration?
Yea What He Said X2put up the pics for psych will ya.........poor guy
Yo curly! I don't know if I notice a big difference but I have adopted the dark days preharvest method a long time ago and felt like it makes at least a little difference. I notice the trichs tend to pop out more. Could just be a placebo effevt for all I know. It definitely doesn't hurt them though.very cool puff , do you notice a big difference when you put them in the dark for a few days before chopping?
sup psy? Finally got the pics up. Thanks for the kind words, actually relatively happy with them considering what happened to them. the smell is more tropical than skunky, very similar candy-like smell from other purple strains like grandaddy. Like I said, definitely a recommended strain. If you haven't yet, look up frisian dew outdoor plants to see some beautiful beasts and what the strain can do outside.^^^ L I K E ! ! !
thanks puff bout time lol but yeah that looks like some sweet ass smoke, and nuggs are nice and dense... skunky like the super skunk side? or more tropical/grapefruit like many review seem to indicate? funny... the purple star side sounds like its more diesel/chemical in reviews... lol anyways... bravo!
