It's a Triploid....and if it's female will produce 3 buds per node instead of just the regular 2.

This is a genetic mutation. If it survives you should keep it as a momma and clone it! I had one once. I named it Einstein. It did not survive.

I have 2 plants that look identical to yours they haven't flowered yet but they do for sure have the 3 tear drop leaves that were there from when it sprouted. I thought maybe it was just the strain but IDK for sure and I have no idea what kind of strain it is. Also you guys when should I clip off those leaves?

I have one plant that has leaves in a three set instead of two. It only occurred on one branch but it does have three bud sites and is female. I would think the extra bud site would make much more hearty nugs. Also a few of the plants had two bud sites on one side of the node and one on the other giving me three bud sites per node without the extra sun leaf... these plants demontstrated poor genetics, but whatever.. currently workin on the first real grow of my own.. bagseed, but better than no seed. Also got a few random seeds from friends but cannot remember which strains they were.. they look much tastier.. the only good thing I can find from the poor genetic seeds was they are an autoflowering strain.. around week 4 they lifted up their skirts.. out of 12 seeds 8 were female, 4 were male.. not too bad of ratios if you ask me..
