3 Little Plants needing help?

Under 1000W MH. 18/6.
Soil is FFOF.
Room temp is around 72F lights on/68 lights off.
The humidistat on the dehumidifier says RH 36 while a nearby analog reads 43%. The temps match.
I gave them some Tarantula a few waters back.
Holes in the bottom of the cups. I give them 6 OZ water when completely dry. There is run off.

After taking pic I changed the direction of the fan so they get more airflow now.

Pic two is a close-up of the leaves I removed from pic 1.
Pic four is a leaf that's still intact.

I did spray them for mites on the 16th. No mites seen during today's check.

Other than a bit over watered and ready for real pot. They appear to be past your questions issues. And looks to have been pest related. Re pot and a bit less water. Keep us posted.

I'm planning on transplanting them from those red Solo cups to 3 gal plastic pots, FFOF. In 4 or so weeks, from the 3gs to 5 gal fabric pots. Sound good?

They are starting to look hungry. What medium/feeding? Id toss some good organic amendment on. a 5-5-5 or 3-3-3. Something balanced.

I use 3 gallon plastic indoors. 5 is not needed. FFOF may mess with you around week 7 or so. Keep your ph between 6.2 - 6.6 until flower. Supplement as needed.

No need indoors. Here is an outdoor 9'6" monsters rootball in ground. Less than a 5 gallon pot. Soil health determines root size. Shitty soil and balance. Massive roots. Well balanced and fed smaller foraging pattern. They only go as far they have to. Stop growing plants. Grow roots.

Personally I like 20 gallon for indoors..... To each their own I suppose. Personally i believe good soil plus space will give you the best roots.

You are also growing in plastic pots.... makes a big difference- fabric pots "air prune" the fuck out of roots but that doesnt mean they cant be healthy.

Prefer the consistency of dry rates with plastic. If done right you don't need fabric. Just a consistent wet dry cycle.

OK, thanks. Right now straight FFOF is in the red solo cups. I don't want to transplant until I get a handle on PH.

The PH meter was ordered on the 6th but haven't received.

I have some Advanced G,B,M. But when I go to the store for more supplies I'm changing neut lines to GH Flora.

Do you have four separate plants in 20 gallon fibers in the pic?

The three bigger ones are in 20s. The smaller one is in a 15. She has been a slow vegger her whole life. Ive done less training/defoliating and she still grows far slower than the other 3. I went from 1/2 gallon to 3 gallon to the big pots. They awesome looking root balls in the 3 gallons and this is when i transplanted them.

No way would i consider leaving them in the 3 gallon plastic pots they were in.

Drainage holes? They look a bit over watered, and the yellowing could be a ph problem, maybe check if your ph pen is calibrated and also if they (ph pen) dry they die. And or possibly a nitrogen deficiency, usually starts at the bottom first. Good luck! hope you get em back to their happy place. Oh and the one spot looks like the pest problem or maybe folier spray with the lights on and it burned?

Yes, drainage holes in the bottoms of the red Solos. I'm working on getting the PH meter. I ordered it back there on the 6th but it hasn't arrived.

And yes, I had a mite problem. I checked a few more leaves this morning and I think the mites are dead. :)

Updated pics. The plants are more or less completely dry.

There are little flying insects flying out of the cups. I killed two of three that I saw. I'm debating on switching to Pro Mix from FFOF right this moment. I just had to deal with spider mites and now the FFOF has flying insects. Comments?

Thanks for all the replies.

These are under 1000W MH Horitlux Blue, 18/6. I labeled the pots with stickers and can keep them separated for pics..

12/22 I transplanted the three little plants from red Solo cups to 3 gallon plastic pots. The soil is 100% FFOF. I decided if these look great in 4 weeks I'll upgrade to the fabrics. It could be a waste of $$ buying now based on past results.

Would you posters agree they shouldn't need any nutes for at least four weeks????

I think the soil may have been too soggy so I fluffed it up earlier.

Looks like they are recovering from deficiency. That FFOF might hold to much moisture but should feed them ok for the next 3 weeks. Youd be surprised how quick they can fill a pot out and start sucking up all the nutes organic soil can provide.

They look much happier, no longer drooping from too much water. With that amount of soil, they might need some food in a couple of weeks, so keep an eye on them for deficiencies. Looking good though, keep it up!
