I bought high quality seeds (2 ultimate dutch passion, 1 strawberry cough, 2 big bud) from attitude seed bank. Growing them in a 4x4 grow tent 5 gallon pots and using the complete fox farm feeding schedule. Temp is kept at 72*f.

I noticed one of the buds on my ultimate plant looked awkward so i snipped it off and after breaking it open there were a couple seeds. no other male pods are visible, just seeds in my nugs. after inspecting the rest of my flowering crop, 2 other plants had seeds in the buds as well but no visible male aspects.

there is no light leakage. what else could cause this issue so i dont make the same mistake next time?

here is what i think could be the problem:

1. Fox farm feeding schedule is too potent? Leaves are burnt on most of my plants with yellow spots and burnt spots.

2. I dropped my watering pale on one plant and it broke the center stalk? i taped it together with a spare stick for support and it healed and continued to grow.

3. Possible disease?

these things happen, seem to happen quite a bit with DP gear?
but that's just from reading, never ran DP gear
a few seeds is not a disaster, heavily seeded buds are a disaster
you may have done everything just fine, some genetics are like that, a few seeds will not harm bud quality or quantity

Sorry to hear this, but dont let this put you off,my advice would be get some regular seeds and sex them or buy some clones of a friend.but check that they do not have any mites or other problems.I have used attitude on and of for many years now and i must admit that the only time i have come across any of the seeds i have bought from them turning is due to me not the seed company, heat stress or thinking that i could keep a femanised seed has a mother and clone it.this can be done but i would only ever do this the once no more.eg;just before you put the seeds on 12/12 off take the amount of clones you need for your next grow of the bottoms where you would lolly pop any how, save them put them on ice so to speak under t5 on 18/6 and keep them on about 1.1ec and build up to 1.4 leave em on that till there ready for take off...............tyke

thanks everyone... i only have 2 weeks left to flower so i guess ill ride it out and start to flush them now with blackstrap.. i just got fem ak-47 in the mail along with regular dp blueberry im gonna start popping them...

btw this crop is the dankest smelling out of any clones or anything else. when i touch the buds my fingers stick together like crazy glue.. so i dont think the quality has been affected.

If the seeds were feminized then it could be something other than genetics because they were suppose to be female so outside influences might have had an impact but if the seeds were regular there's always a 50/50 chance of getting male plants friend. Although I've had feminized seeds come out herm before like the kalashnikova from GH without any outside stress other than bad genetics.

Seeds from Seedbanks Worldwide are always Subject to probally being grown out of a crappy batch where quality control was so low that gentics will carry hermie traits.

NEVER BUY FEMINIZED. AND ALWAYS PRE TEST before Vegging beautiful plants out of untested seeds.

I know because we made 60 of the most gorgeous GREAT WHITE SHARK MINI MOMS and they were gentcally hermie at wk 2. To the trash maker.
