Looks good to me. Nice color. Nice bright green new growth. Now would be a good time to switch to advanced nutrients (if you haven't already) and start plucking all the leaves off so you can pull a pound.

Wrong........don't switch to Advanced Nutes, no need. They are overpriced and maybe over-rated. Search around for a good alternative, they're are plenty around.

And don't pluck NO HEALTHY LEAVES at this point........they are little sugar factories that help produce fast growth. If you go pluckin now, it just slows down growth. A week or so before flowering, consider topping the plants once to help bush it out some to increase your weight. Your plant needs more time to get bigger, so your final weight will be worth while.

Looks like a nice young healthy plant.

NEVER pull leaves, thats the power plant of the plant!! Dont do that!!!

You could begin to add some nitrogen based nutes at 1/4 strength pretty soon if you wanted

but the plant looks good theres no point in changing what your doing, unless you've used nutes in previous grows.

Your 1.5GPW can fairly easily be reached by using other methods too i.e. long veg with correct strain selection, CO2 addition, plant training (LST, etc.), etc. I wasn't knocking your suggestion, only recommending other choices are out there. There is also a cost consideration, with A.N. being on the highest end. I can get the same results (and have numerous times) without A.N. and defoliating.

lol @ long veg and co2..............I can veg. 1 plant for 3 days using my system and reach a measly 1.5 GPW. I said 1.5 GPW because that's the low end of the scale. Once you obtain your black belt in Defoliation - Advanced - Nutrients - Technique, it's not rare to hit 3-5 GPW. It's extremely doubtful you even come close to these numbers with your leafy plants. Hope this helps.

All I can definitely say for sure is "if you are attributing it to Using Advanced Nutes, then it's extremely doubtful. Actually, you sound like a kool-aide drinking democrat. I'm guessing it has more to do with expertise in the growing method than nutes......but if it's working for you, why care what anyone else says. How about a link to a complete grow of yours for us to study?

I don't need to show proof because the proof is in the pudding and the pudding is chocolate with a delicious vanilla swirl. Try the Potency and Stalk Strengthener Tribe as well as the Root Mass Expanders Tribe from Advanced Nutrients and you'll be able to achieve these results too:

42 days flower.... A little lazy with the defoliation but as you can see Advanced Nutrients was sure doing its job. The next day you can best believe there were no leaves on this plant.

I can see your techniques are paying off, big time. Those buds are really packing on the weight. One word....DENSE. Nice work.

Greatness dude you must be blind not to see that you fucked that plant up. A pound dude you won't even get a 7 in wet weight with all the stems on that thing. Not even if you harvest the grow medium with that twig. Yeah 99 your gonna break the scale in half with that bowl of a plant.

To the untrained eye it might look like those yellow, dying leaves could indicate something like a nitrogen deficiency. Not so. The simple truth is that there are way too many leaves and it's attempting to defoliate itself. The plant wants what the plant wants.
