Hi all, my plants have been fine for the first 3 weeks, but just within the past 3 or 4 hours, my plants have all started to droop and look very very sad

Let me give some information:
-I have 9 plants in 1 gal pots in Sunshine mix(peat moss, perlite,d lime)
-Feeding each plant one liter of water every 3-4 days(not enough?)
-Temperature is 76-79F lights on, humidity 37%
-Feeding Dynagro Foliage Pro at 2.5ml/g & Pro-tekt at .7ml/g
-1000w MH (hortilux blue) 2' away
-All Ghost Train Haze#1 from seed

Thanks to anyone that can help, here are some pictures I took of the plants and a couple of the roots of one:

Those don't look like 1 gal. pots dude, what it the diameter?
The last pics look like you could go ahead and t-plant, especially since you already have one out.
Any idea what your PH is?
Do you actually check your soil to see if it's dry before you water? Your watering schedule WILL change throughout the plant's life cycle.

8" diameter

No, I don't have a meter. I have amazon prime so I can order one and it be here in 2 days, if its a must I'll go out and get one today from my hydro shop.

Yes I do, I usually wait until the top of the mix seems dryish or the pots feel light.

Do you have good air flow?
Are you checking room temp or canopy temp?
I've only seen that tacoing from either PH or heat, but the numbers you give, if temp at canopy level under the light are fine.

yet another ph, temp or water problem post..... I just did an experiment on the effects of a high ph, leaves folded down just like your pics. If its not overwatering and your temps are good, the ph is where I would look, how much lime did you use? Lime will take a while to work but when it does it will drive your ph to 8.0 if there is too much in the soil.

The thermometer is at the canopy, yes my air flow is good, and I'm starting to think its a PH problem..

I actually saw that post the other day when I was just browsing around,a few leaves started to curl up and I thought it was a PH problem but wasnt sure. I'm pretty sure it is now. And I didnt add any lime, its in the sunshine mix out of the bag.

By the way I am using tap water I leave sitting out for a couple days to make sure to get rid of chlorine, etc..

I believe so as well.
I would recommend at the minimum getting a water PH test kit from a pet store for aquariums to at least see what you're putting into your plant, but if you can, get a good pen as well so you can check the soil.

Alright, thanks so much for the help. Ill go grab one of the kits from Petco down the street ASAP. Any meter off amazon you would recommend I order?

I got my thingie from Petco also, LOL.....
Along with a bottle of PH down, knowing I was coming out of the tap close to 8.0 for under 20 bucks.
As far as a pen, sorry, but the cheapo is all I use.
Check with one of the guys like ~Dankster~420, Aimaim, LetsGetCritical, Flaming Pie, or maybe SOMBEECH.
They're all great growers, and I think they're more into the PH thing than I am.

I just tested my water, and yup, my water from the tap is close to 8.0

I just feel soooooo much better knowing what the problem was, and I got a kit so it came with a little bit of PH down too. :bigjoint:

Ya man, you should be set now that you know the problem that is causing more, but here's a chart that might help. and don't be shy to ask about further problems.

Quick couple a questions for all you guys including the OP.
OP, is this your first grow and first attempt at growing anything from scratch? No offence intended.

Everyone else, dont those things just look thirsty to anyone else?

i know mine look exactly like that when they want water....Soiless grow, 1 gallon pots, water every 3-4 days. Sounds like theyre actually starting to drink more and using up the water faster.

I may be wrong but to the OP, wait four days and see if it happens again.

Bump..anyone second this opinion? heres some other advice, those terra cotta pots suck for so manny reasons. Theres many other options that will give you better results. Also the drip catchers your using, the saucers. Those gotta go. With a soiless mix like sunshine or coco coir, you need to be watering not only to feed, but also to leach salts from the soiless dirt your using. This is done by giving ample runoff at waterings. So unless your bringing your plants to the tub and just using those like a maxi pad for the leftovers, you may want to consider better drip trays that can be emptied or separated from the growing container with some type of spacer so your container isnt sitting in the runoff only to reabsorb it. Your plants will be less likely to burn from excess salts and less likely to start locking out from salt build up. :):):)

Ya, I guess we could have mentioned the droopiness, but I was more focused on the rippled leafs.

It was never underwatering, I'm nearly positive it was the PH being insanely high out of the tap. Ever since I've fixed it my plants have been looking better than ever. Not to mention they grew like CRAZY with the adjusted PH in just 6 days, I'm uploading pics now.
