3 weeks into flower/ leaves clawing

First I'm new here so hello. This isn't my first time growing but it is my first time growing regular plants. I've grown autoflowers a couple times with no problems. My room Setup is 1000w MH/HPS lighting system. Temps are good I'm watering every other day. I just started noticing really bad leaf clawing on 3 of my plants a couple days ago and it seems it is getting worse, I'm using botanicare CNS 17 bloom every watering at the lowest dose. I don't think it's a heat issue because I can hold my hand above them without my hand getting warm and it doesn't seem like I'm under watering because they aren't really droopy. Could anyone possibly tell me what it might be? Not enough light? The PH seems good the only other thing I could think of from what I read is to much nitrogen, it's only the top couple rows of leaves the rest seem fine. I have a picture attached, thanks.

Also, if it's a nitrogen issue how do I lower it?

That's not clawing, that's pre death . Are you letting the soil dry out or is it always wet? What's your temps?

I'm letting the soil pretty much dry before re watering, temps range from 72 to 74

when I pick up my pots and they are pretty light that's when I water them, maybe I'm not watering enough? Here's another pic of all of my ladies, the rest look good it's 2 of them are doing it like the first picture and one is starting.

Anyone else have any input? I really hope it's something that can be turned around.

So I tried straight water for 3 watering a now and the problem hasn't changed but hasn't gotten worse. Still have no clue what's going on, any help would be great.

What about over watering? you need to make sure the pot is dry before you water again.

I just did that, didn't water for 3 days and it was completely dry, they were all drooping bad and I watered and they perked back up and look good but the curled leaves are still curled. Maybe they won't come back but won't get worse? Unless it's possible root bound, they are 5gallon pots that aid in overwatering. Made of a felt like material. I'd say it's 4.75gallons worth of soil in them.

Could try giving them little bits of water when you water them, try swapping the plant to a different place in your grow room, it might just be heat, or as you said it could be root bound. just seen this looking on google.. this guys plant was root bound and drooping like yours. http://www.growkind.com/marijuana/gardens/1992/0/10/28152.html .. hope its okay to post links on here.

what the water ph ? you said thats 3 weeks into flower? and your in soil ? what nutes are you into.?those are some big plants . maybe the repotting into fresh soil and bigger pot . might do the trick.

The Ph is like 6.0 to 6.3 I'm just worried about repotting because of the type of pot it's in the roots kind of attach to it. I guess I could try cutting it off and going that route to but replanting could shock them and possibly cause herms though right?

I wouldn't transplant during flower. You getting run off when you water? How much you watering in a session? What are your temps and rh?

I'm giving each plant about a half gallon of water. And yes some run off because of the type of pot it is. I'm not sure what you mean by rh? If you mean ph it's about 6.0 to 6.3 temps are 72 to 74 sometimes 76 depends on the weather outside since the room is in a basement

RH= Relative Humidity

I use the 5gal fabric pots, I find they can hold a gallon each when the medium is dry ( sunshine #4) before getting much runoff. Is it possible you are pouring too fast, causing the water to bleed out the sides prematurely?

My humidity ranges from 40 to 50 percent. I do get run off when I start pouring sometimes and lose some so maybe I should try giving them more and pouring slower?

Yea, I like to give them the first 1/3-1/2 of the jug directly into the runoff tray, then let them suck that up before top-watering. That way you know the root zone at the bottom of the pot is getting plenty to drink, and any runoff is truly "extra".
I'm guessing even if you are bleeding water out the sides it's still going into a runoff tray, so the pot would suck it up pretty quickly if it needed it badly..

Edit: Worth mentioning that if your trays are dirty or have built up salts that could affect bottom feeding, always keep trays clean lol

what you mean?

I try to keep them clean. Maybe I'll try putting water in the tray not all of the runoff goes in the tray. It doesn't seem to be affecting the flowering much because they seem to be filling in more pretty much every day. I guess the leaves just won't bounce back but hopefully the problem doesn't worsen. So for now I guess I'll try upping the water supply and going with some in the tray
