You could try removing some of those big leaves and allow more light and air to the bud sites. Look up schwazzing, it’s your call but it is supposed to help increase yields. I just did mine but she was 21 days after light flip.the pictures should be... before, bud sites, after, and the last one is a day after the defoliation.I have these 2 females don't know what strain they are but they smelling like sour diesel or lemon haze not sure there about 30 day's in flower in a gallon pot...around how much will they yield??
Agreed, don't touch them at this point....and never to the extent Papa Bear did (sorry). The one thing you could try, if you have room, is to tie the tops down which will allow more light to hit the bottom buds. This should be done in veg really. You could then lower your light. If you do it, make sure to water the plants real good the night before, and that will make them more flexible. Just go slow and don't break any stems! Maybe try one...You'll see what a difference it can make. I most always do this in veg, and then after they stretch in flower, I remove a lot of the lower leaves and branches so all the strength goes into the tops...This is called lolli-popping.dear god no !! .... defoling is touchy .....you cannot strip it down like that during flower. This website spreads too much shit around.... papa bear .... read some stuff on defol vs not and see what ya come up with.... Its something you with a shitton of experience or knowledge.....but basic knowledge is to not touch anything after a couple weeks into the flip. Those leaves that this stupid site tells you to take off ARE THE solar panels for the plant.... the big fans stick out so it can suck up the light for the lower stuff. ive seen 7 gram buds in the "dark" under leaves and other plants. Defol is for veg
spot on info here bud!Agreed, don't touch them at this point....and never to the extent Papa Bear did (sorry). That’s what I did, I researched it, and felt like it was at least worth a try! So far my girl doesn’t seem to mind it at all, and I can see the lower pistils bulking up as well and it’s only been a few days! I will get one out of the light today when she wakes up.Manfredo/GTG ... I agree folks. The large fans are an integral component of the plant and lollipopping is a proven pruning method.
But I just did a quick web search and received a few hits on schwazzing. So before I totally discount this technique, I think I'll read as much as I can about it first.
Oy!! Schwazzing is just a really shitty new buzzword that was "invented" to try and capitalize on the burgeoning newbie market. I just finished Joshua Haupt's video on this and it was such a marketing schpeel so I discounted that particular bit of info ...... That’s what I did, I researched it, and felt like it was at least worth a try ...
It's not a rant, GTG ... it's your opinion. And you might be right - leaf stripping might end up being a major fail. But reading some of the comments leads me to believe otherwise. It would be fantastic to get more beef out of those popcorn nuggets.... Defol in veg only until you understand the plant more. rant over...

... but schwazzing is just Leaf Stripping and there are growers who have been leaf stripping for decades. This video, 18 days into his flower phase following a major leaf strip, shows the plants just as bare as yours Papa Bear:
Well ... I'm convinced it's worth a try. It's too late for these ladies so leaf stripping is definitely gonna be a part of the next grow.
