in BC my 300 are legal.
I'm don't mean to be a dick in asking this question, but how are you going to cover all of those capital costs when Harper plans to discontinue the MMAR program next March? He also has the final say in appointees to the Supreme Court -- where this issue will ultimately end up -- and I guarantee those people WILL be dicks!

I'm thinking the plants you have now aren't under 10,000 watts or so (per tent), then there are other issues to contend with. Also I don't think scrog and short vegetative time go in the same sentence somehow.

if you are going to try it, i dont recommend you too, but you didn't ask me if i recommended you too do it or not, simply asked how you could pull it off.

Try
8 x 1000 watts under the largest raptor hoods
(4 in each tent)
2 10x10 Tents with 2 4x8 trays in them.
(in two trays you can fit 120+ 1 gallon Pots)
so if you use all the space in the trays you could do 480+
or just the 300, your call.
each 1000 watt will cover a 4x4 space and 60 plants
place a 16,000 btu portable ac or the largest one you can find in each. or construct a box to fit around the back part of the largest window ac you can get and cut out a hole from the box hook up to exhaust fan and vent out. (if you cant fit it you might have to cut into tent)
If you can get two portable acs in each then you will have no heat problems.
rule of thumb, have about 5000 btu per 1000 watt light.
get a 10" or 12" fan for exhaust. for each tent
get 2 275 IBC totes (you will need a lot of water)
also recommend getting separate water res for each room, better control.
get 50 pound co2 tanks for each room. generators will produce too much heat.
you want your answer OP? Its right here^^
whoever said scrog....nope. SOG all the way. Get some mothers going and fill those tents as fast as you can. That way youll turn plants way faster, like months faster than scrog and use your lights to their full potential at the same time. Make sure that you have a good drain system going on so your plants dont sit in their run off water and make damn sure that you are keeping detailed logs and notes on the plants as you get them into flower tent. Mark all the plants well as they go in.

With the size that your going to be throwing them in there 2-2.5 oz per plant is not a realistic number at all. Hope for an oz a plant with a 2-3 week veg. Ive only done sog style once and it was in dwc with 18 days of veg and i ended up with just over an oz a plant. Sorry to burst your bubble.

your biggest problem is probably going to be your electrical im thinking, well besides the smell lol. With all the power your planning on running you will need some serious electrical work done and those copper wires arent cheap. My suggestion would be if you know anyone at your local hydro store to ask them if they could reccomend an electrician before you do any buying of anything. It all takes money so i hope ya got alot but itll all dome back to ya if you read all day everyday and dont fuck it all up. Good luck to ya, youll need it. :):):)

First and foremost what is your start up budget, and your monthly allocation for your project? That is big money you are talking about. To take on such a huge and incredibly expensive project with very little experience sounds like a disaster waiting to happen. Why not just get one 10'x10' tent with at most 24 plants to start and see how that first grow goes, then go from there? That would be a big project, and time consuming in itself. You can always add another tent or two and more equipment down the road. I admire your enthusiasm though..lol

I've got quite a bit of gardening experience and the plants i have now are doing great. the card 300 expires in march so we want to do as much as possible before then
If you really want that count to produce before march than throw the cfl's out, spend the 20K and grow 20lbs a month till then. The cash you put out for the proper equipment will easily pay for itself in a month. With less than a year left(I hope not) this is not the time to cheap out. Good luck

so we've got a 300 plant card and are new to growing  we have a few going now we're planning on using as mothers that are doing great. I've got a fairly large area but they MUST be in tents. I've been reading about scrog grows with 1 plant/sq ft that pull aprox 2-2.5oz/sqft with a short veg time. does that sound right? so here's what i'm thinking..... 3 10x10 tents apporx 100 plants ea in 3 gal bags on a slightly slanted table to drain. is that good plan? would you do it differently? and how many lights/watts would I need per tent? I've got a ton of cords and 65w cfl's i can randomly hang around to enhance the lighting and would like to purchase as few new lights as possible thanks for any ideas/input :)
Sorry but not with tents...this is exactly what 120 plants look like in flower in a 16' x 20' room My flower room.jpg

in BC my 300 are legal. I've been reading about scrog and you "could" do 9 in solo cups in 1 sq ft if it's indica dominant with no veg time and pull aprox 2 oz/sq ft. most suggest 1 plant/sq ft with a short veg time and pull 2-2.5 oz. dose anyone reading do this?? how many lights and how many watts would be sufficient with extra 65w (300w equivalent) cfl's throughout?
How did you get a card for 300 plants? What Doctor would of signed off on a 60g a day. Im also in BC, sounds like your going to stock up and then what? I grow for my daughter and have no intentions on making millions, just want to help her. So if your growing 300 what strain would you be growing, obviously there wont be any quality control.

Wow, I think you are trying it wrong. If you have a card for 300 and it is legal for you, why don't you go rent a greenhouse and do it right. If you insist on indoor, I would rent out a cheap warehouse and do it there.

first 10x10 tent make sure its a grow tent not the camping 10x10 you will have probs with cieling hieght and temps and alot of other issues like humidity ect... second i would re evaluate this 300 hundred thing i dont know of any way this is legal so first expense would be lawyer retainer rainy day fund then lights ,tents, filters ,vents, fans, heaters,ac's, pots, soil, timers, ferts, labels trimming shears, ona gel, jars ect...

Sounds like your way in above your head based on that comment. You obviously don't have the cash you need to make it a success.

In my opinion I would hire a grower to take care of them. Obv a good one lol that way all you have to do is stump up the cash needed and wait for a return.

I think you should consider what some people would do for a crumb of crack before surrounding yourself with Allot of weed, it's big money at the end of the day.....

What's it they say one born every minute!!!!
