Everything looks great but if I were you I would raise your LED's up to 8-12in above your canopy. I've seen a grow with (2) 300W LED units approx. 12in above the canopy for a more even spread and the guy pulled 540gms off 600 watts!! Nice size top colas too, with your LEDs so close your really put the light on a couple plants instead of the mass group of your garden. Also adding a little "Bud Candy" from Advanced Nutrients the last few weeks before you flush will add 10%-20% more on your yeild. You can buy "Bud Candy" via e-Bay or straight from Advanced up in CA.

Youtube the Video: (Keywords) 600 watt 540 L.E.D and you'll see it from start to finish. Well done medical grow with L.E.D's.

I too have started using UFO's and Envirolites, Ive had mad cool results big big veggin and am currently flowering check out my pics I will upload more when i can :) i was sceptical on LEDS but the plants love 'em the cfls just complete the spetrum, I ve tried both seperatly and got best results when i combined 2x 90 watt ufo's and 1x 150w blue spec Envirolitefor veggin and 2x ufo's and 1x 250w red spec Envirolite for flowering. SOME LED GROW PANELS ARE SHITE! BUT REST ASSURED UFO'S ACCOMPANIED BY A DECENT SIZED CFL HAS BETTER RESULTS THAN A 400W HPS SET UP ...NO BS, :) how did you do with urs???????? hope all goes well from STELTHY

I am running out of ceiling room unfortunately. I intend to do a few different grows with the LEDs to test the distance differences but for now I am going to finish this one out keeping them a few inches away. I want to move them farther away, believe me but im out of room. I have about a foot and a half of room from the top plant to the celing and I just started flowering.

Does anyone have any suggestions for managing the height problems that Im having? The plants are pushing 3 feet now and still growing like crazy.

Im just starting to flower now...Im nervous. These LEDs have white light as well as IR along with the red and blues. There is a total of 504w of LED going up against the 1000w. I am starting a mother plant off one of the female plants, once I chop her down for my next grow I will be able to tell much better what the differences are.
Im going to check out your pics tho. Thanks for tuning in bro.

I'm sure you already know this but next grow just make sure to switch from Veg. to Flower whenever your plants have reached the halfway point of the height you desire. I like to grow mine up to 18 inches in veg then switch it to flowering so 80% or more of my plants are @ 36-38in. and just packing the weight on. Anything over 30in with L.E.D's is going to be really hard to penatrate to the bottom lat. growth. I cut my clones from bottom up though that way your not losing any big colas off your lats.

P.S. If the L.E.D's work for flowering let me know bro! I totally understand your thoughts as far as your F.L.I.R worries with HPS. In my state the pigs use their chopper FLIR all the time! Remember they need a warrant to use it on any house, but they illegaly use it all the time. They'll claim someone saw your plants and thats how they found out but really it's called a "Ghost Informant" Go to trial with it and it's thrown out in any of the 50 states when it comes to calling the snitch to the stand.

Fight for our rights!!

How R the L.E.D's doing for flowering? I'm using HPS's right now in 6" cool tubes with almost NO heat hooked to a 6" 420 CFM inline fan. Just wondering because I'm about to buy two 300W L.E.D's for a little test of my own! Take care of your grow and I wish the best for U bro!

I'm finding this interesting, and lord knows i've lurked harder than most. that said, one needs to be skeptical in this world and the fact that someone comes on here with no previous posts, gets told by someone else with 11 posts to their name that one light manufacturer is better than the rest... well its fishy. does it necessarily skew the results, no. i'm waiting with as baited breath as anyone else. just saying

otherwise, big fan

Well he has shown plenty of pics so far, and the person with a few posts that suggested he use another LED gave him the best advice possible.

wot type of l.e.d's are you using? my dads friend has been experimenting with red and blue l.e.d combos, with good results, however the first cost is expensive for l.e.d's but soon enough theyll come down, ill see if i can get soem pics,

just read thru your journal and im impressed. im currently running my second led grow. first was under a 90w in soil. ive moved on to my current one in coco with (1) 126w from hydrogrow. Almost ready to start flowering my ladies. Check out some of my pics. Just seeing whats going on in this thread makes me want those 300w's.

somewhere back among the posts it was mentioned about main cola size vs offshoot size. i have found that the main cola is not as big but the other shoots well make up for it! just better overall growth!

i use a little bit of bud blast as a foliar for extra offshoot growth so that i can harvest more clones and have those side shoots explode up to fill a sweet SOG.

the only thing i can suggest to help combat your height issue is to install a screen to have them grow more horizontal and have even canopy growth.

im subscribed. rock the shit out of this grow man. +rep bongsmilie

Ok guys sorry about the delay in response.
Up to this point I have been taking pics with my Palm Pre, but for close up shots of the buds it sucks. It isn't able to focus.
So I am searching for a camera to borrow at the moment and I'll get some nice pics posted

What I can tell you so far is that the plants under the LEDs are having more even budding on all branches whereas the plants under the 1000w are mainly flowering on the main cola.

I'm still having height issues with the plants under the 1000w. I have a high velocity fan cooling it but the glass is still about 100 degrees which causes any new foliage/budage that touches it to die. The more mature leaves seemed unaffected by the heat of the glass.

In my resevoir Im using Foxfarms tripack for blooming which is Open Sesame, Beastie Blooms, and Cha-Ching. I used it in my last grow and got some hella dense buds with it. It is a 3 part system so the first stage of bloom(first 3 weeks) I use Open Sesame, and on to the next every 3 weeks.

HighwayHarvest: how far away did you keep the LEDs from your canopy and how deep did the buds grow in relation to light penetration.

Thanks for the rep

thats the beauty of the 126w penetrator...it does what it says. i was able to get all my growth tips to flower (11-13)...although there were some lil nuggies at the bottom. i generally kept it from 6-8 inches above and it seemed to work very well. im planning an update my current journal sometime on sunday. ill have some pics attached. im thinking this time around i may clip it back harder, removing a few extra nodes at the bottom (for clones of course) to see if i can increase my other tops further and create a nice dense canopy.

Subscribed. hey bro i'm very interested on how this works out. i'm in a very simular situation as you as i've been growing for 5 years with 2 1000w HPS and 2 1000w Mh and the heat is my biggest issue. i'm constantly trying to keep the temp in my room down. how much cooler do those run and what are the dimensions?
thanx and good luck.
