300w LED

Hey everybody,
Here's my situation im about to set up a grow tent 4x8 flower room.
Im waiting till Nov.22 to order tent from mars-hydro site, they have a black friday deal going on. But my question was for another black friday promo going on.

A 300w LED for $5 usd. I was wondering if this would b good for seedlings/clones/mothers, or is it more of a flower light? Im new to LED's as i plan to have 2-600w air cooled hoods in the 4x8 flower tent.

My seedlings/mother room will b 3' 6" x 3'

Im just wondering if that'd work for seedlings/clones/mothers.
Would it also be good with my 2 -600w hps in flower room? (might try and order a couple at that price)

My neighbor uses a cheap LED just for seedlings and vegging small plants. Does a good job really.

My old Mars 300's pull about 125W and do a great job as clone/mother fixtures. Not super efficient but for $5, I'd get a few just because.

You do know you have to spend $1000 on their site to get that $5 light don't you?

Ya thats what most noobs pay for a setup, i bet they shift quite a few mars :-)

I had to check the website because for $5.00 I would have bought a few for growing indoor herbs, lettuce, etc... The light is worth $5.00 but it's not worth spending another $1000 to get it for that price.

I wouldn't put 1000$ into mars lights that's for sure . I did however get suckered into buying one of their 100ish watt cob lights for like $300. Look elsewhere to invest your $1000. I like cobshop net or optic
