Kali Mist is getting the axe tonight. We're kind of busy at the moment, but I thought I'd throw up a couple of pics from a few days ago. She's a bit riper now, I'm guessing 5 - 10% amber, and definitely done fattening up.

Nice Med CHOP THE SHIT OUT OF HER lol Im hoping my Italian Chocolate is gonna be ready for 4/20. I had a bottom branch snap off and i check the trics on her she seems 75% Cloudy 15-20 % Clear and very few ambers here and there

Sause you got a week or less on that Chocolate. Once she is about 80%, she finish up fast and swells hard in the last three days to make those delicious EC bred DANK NUGS!

Thanks bshdctr. I can't speak to the high and flavor yet, but my kids would tell you the smell is STINKY! I came in from the shed after doing the rough cut last night to say goodnight to the kids and they were not shy about telling me I stunk. Mrs. Medshed said she could smell me from over 20 feet away. I'll take that as a compliment...

Here are the keeper buds. I am going to make a lot of tincture out of this girl so any bud smaller than a small egg got tossed into the hash pile, which is probably about 2 gallons in size. Since we have so much for hash making I'm planning to do ice water extraction in the 5 gallon bucket. Oh yeah!

Ever since I get my Boldt bags for kief/hash making I may never go back! It's just 2 easy, 2 awesome and 2 ounces of kief for a MMJ patient....that's even better!

The Kali Mist has now been fully processed into bud and hash. The buds are curing along nicely at about 60% humidity in the jar. The hash will dry for a few more days before I turn most of it into tincture. I will be bringing some along for the 420 gathering though.

We ended up with about 2.2 oz of bud, which will probably reduce to below 2 oz through the early cure. I haven't weighed the hash yet but will be doing that when making the tincture. I'm really bad at estimating hash weight but I'm going to guess it will end up somewhere around 8 grams.

After sampling some of the hash, I am not disappointed. She delivers that "let's go do something" buzz that I was looking for. In fact, I intended to upload these pics yesterday morning but after taking a couple of hash hits I got so wired up I had to get out and do some work in the yard. I also get a stronger sense of bliss, leaning toward slight euphoria, than what I remember from previous experience with Kali Mist. The come-down is a bit heavier than I recall too, but I'm holding judgement on that until I get more testing under my belt.

And the results of the ice water extraction. I beat her pretty hard to get all the trichomes off, which resulted in a little more green in the 73 than I'd like, but it still melts down to nothing.
