Hahaha, I would have so much more rep if they took off all the -rep I got from stupid shit. I have been -repped for all kinds of childish crap. Unfortunately for me I am one of the few people who leaves my name and a reason for a -rep if I leave a -rep. So naturally the person always feels the need to -rep me back for no reason just to be a dick.

Oh well. Im sure there will be a lot less people bitching and complaining to admins that some guy gave me -rep for nothing. :dunce:

mh is the best for veg but im guessing the hps is from an old grow and he didnt feel like dropping $100 on a new mh

i have 3 600w HPS lights over my babies i use em for veggin and flowerin works great for both. im thinkin of gettin an MH bulb for the middle 600w cuz i heard a 2:1 ratio of HPS:MH works the best.. but we'll see

First off sorry for the lack of pics. I dont have any cam right now, I will try to get some pics up soon.


I use a 250w HPS. It wasn't from an old grow, I ordered it brand new.

Most people "prefer" MH because it keeps the node spacing much tighter. The plants stay shorter and get bushier.

This does not in any way mean MH is Always Better to Veg.

It really depends on what your using it for. If I was vegging plants before they go into the tent then I would use MH. But I only keep mothers and clones under the 250w HPS.

Under the HPS the plants tend to stretch more, and grow a lot more shoots, which for Me, means a lot more clones to harvest Faster. :wink:

so the spectrum promotes more offshots ive never heard that but ill take your word for it
either way the whole systems working very well so why change it

It produces more, longer shoots, faster. I dont know if it produces more overall as MH has tigher node spacing. But with the HPS the shoots get nice and long real fast and are ready to harvest for clones.

i will use 60cm mdf box for vegging,cloning and vegging moms.
i will use MH for them,is it bad idea ?
and
do you only use 250w HPS. for rooting clones ?is it really works

i heard that flourouscent lamps is the best for rooting clones an seedlings ,is it true ?
flourouscent lamps must be used or only MH or HPS is enough for clones,rooting clones,seedlings and vegging moms ?
