damn son... that tent looks fucking great...and for the price, i dont think it could possibly any better... how much did that hps cost ya? also, did the ventilation fans come with that tent or did you install them yourself? she's looking good... you said 4 more weeks of flowering? you mind taking some close up piks of the plant? at least you got that one female... when you get your sprouts going, i would figure out your strongest female and just keep a mother... flower all the clones you pull in the tent in bulk... you could prolly fit a good bit of clones in that tent... damn i wanna hps... if only santa clause were real rite? lol... i got a homie from trashville that says he is gonna kik me down a 600w hps... but one thing i have noticed about stoners is that they forget to bring shit when you really want it... guess i'll stick to my cfl's until i run across a good hps deal... but by all means, your plant is looking damn good, no matter what you are using...

I installed the fans myself (bought them off of eBay). The HPS was I think $140 including shipping.
I feel pretty bad about burning his big bud on the top. I moved the light up a lot, and hopefully won't affect it too much. I'd get a big fancy ventilation system, but of course...more $$$.

yeah the money part is the ONLY part i hate about growing... it seems like it takes a lil to start out and it pays you back in bud... i just dont really have it to start with... that is why i am slowly upgrading to bigger grows... i think that when i am about 2 years deep of growing, i will prolly have a bad ass setup that works perfectly for me... i built the perfect micro grow box for myself, what stops me from doing it just a lil bit bigger... lol... damn sorry to hear about the burns.. so lets see... all in all, your hps setup w/ tent was under 300 bucks about? not bad, i just dont have it...

Yeah, I know what you mean. I actually may be changing it so there is a door on the box rather than a lid. I also added a buffer of one inch of dead air between the lights and the plants using plexiglass. I have noticed quite a difference.
The temperatures got to 114F where the lights are, and room temperature where the plants were! It worked as it should! Now, I have to tackle keep the stupid CFL bulbs cool.
I am considering losing the cabinet and just growing from 12/12 strictly.
Thoughts?

Here are some pictures... I am in the 5th week of flowering. Plants looking great. Apical bud has healed up. I have started some other seedlings. I started germinating three of my five feminized short rider seeds, but only two really germinated, and only one got a nice big taproot on it. I am a little bummed. I am letting them sit in the towel for a while. Maybe Nirvana will hook me up with some extra seeds.
