33rd day flowering UPDATE

Madeline is doing great these days. For past info check out this thread. It has been 33 days since I flipped the lights on her. And she's gotten quite frosty! Makes me excited for sure. The only bad news is, it looks like I might have a Manganese deficiency. If it gets bad, I'm guessing I should flush her and get some Cal-Mag to feed her. (Any thoughts on that?)

Onto the pics!

cal mag is calcium and magnesium maganese is a different deficiency Manganese deficiencies are often caused by a pH that is too high, or if the plant is getting too much iron.

a good way to help her with Mg and other trace elements in flowering is with Black strap Molasses, I use a Ts. in a gallon of water, fist deluded in a cup of boiling water in between nutrients so to speck from week two of flowering all the way to the end, even after I cut the nuts, also help your soil micro life and some say it make the Bud tasty ..

in Veg I use Epsom salt to provide Mg (Magnesium sulfat)

By the looks of it maybe put just one teaspoon of epsom salt per gallon of water a week not every time just for the last couple of weeks. With that said they look good and would not suprise me if you just watered and did not mess with it these last two weeks you will be fine. Mine have been doing the same thing the last couple of weeks before harvest and I even had to pull one a week or so early but it still is bad ass smoke. On another note I have one that is one week away and I stabbed it. Found it on the web you make a cut right through the base of the stalk and put something in there to keep it open, I did it three days ago and it works the buds are the most sticky I have ever grown and a few days ago they were sticky but not like this. Going to pull her Sunday, the odor is also stronger than anything I have every grown. Exciting.

Hmm.. Thanks for the tips. I thought black strap molasses was for organic grows to give the microbes something to eat and then there waste became food for your plant? I'm using a coco/perlite mix, not soil.

Epsom salts might not be a bad idea... I've only been feeding her the coco nutrients so far... I'm half inclined to leave well enough alone for now though. If I did... How much would you use in 500ml bottles? I'm watering her manually with water bottles with notes mixed in.

And yes that plant should have at least 3 weeks to go if not 5 weeks.... Gonna wait till she tells me she is ready and not chop her by looking at trichs or by a certain date....although maybe some testers around Xmas :-D
